Reinstatement of Sick Leave Accruals. 14 1. Any employee who separates from County employment for any 15 reason other than layoff or PERS retirement, who is subsequently re-employed as a 16 regular status employee within one hundred eighty (180) days, is entitled to credit for all 17 sick leave accrued up to the last day of prior employment. Sick leave shall not accrue 18 during the period between separation from employment and re-employment. 19 2. Employees who were laid off from County employment or are serving 20 in a temporary or on-call position following layoff will have their sick leave balance 21 restored when they are recalled from layoff.

  • Reinstatement of Vacation Days - Sick Leave In the event an employee is sick or injured prior to the commencement of his/her vacation, such employee shall be granted sick leave and the vacation period so displaced shall be added to the vacation period if requested by the employee and by mutual agreement, or shall be reinstated for use at a later date.

  • Sick Leave Accrual All eligible employees shall accrue sick leave at the rate of four (4) hours per pay period of continuous employment beginning with their date of eligibility. Eligible employees being paid for less than a full eighty (80) hour pay period shall have sick leave accruals pro-rated in accord with the schedule set forth in Appendix D.

  • Vacation Leave Accrual ‌ After a full-time employee has been in pay status for eighty (80) non-overtime hours in a calendar month, the employee will accrue vacation leave according to the rate schedule below. Vacation leave accrual for part-time employees will be proportionate to the number of hours the part-time employee is in pay status during the month to that required for full-time employment.

  • Amount of Sick Leave Employees shall be granted sick leave on the basis of one and one-half (1 1/2) days per month of service in a continuing appointment, at the F.T.E. of current appointment. If in any one year employees have not used their sick leave, or only a portion thereof, it shall accrue to their credit for future use and benefits.

  • Sick Leave Accumulation (a) An employee is eligible to accumulate sick leave with full pay at the rate of 16 working hours for each 173 1/3 hours of service. (b) The maximum number of days of sick leave which may be awarded to an employee during any consecutive twenty (20) year period of service shall not exceed 3840 hours.
