Responsibilities of Coordinator. In particular, the Coordinator shall be responsible for: • monitoring compliance by the Parties with their obligations; • keeping the address list of Members and other contact persons updated and available; • collecting, reviewing to verify consistency and submitting reports and information on the progress of the Project and reports and other deliverables (including financial statements and related certification) to the Funding Authority; • collecting, reviewing to verify consistency and submitting reports and information on the progress of the Project and reports and other deliverables (including financial statements and related certification) to the Funding Authority; • preparing the meetings, proposing decisions and preparing the agenda of PSC meetings, chairing the meetings, preparing the minutes of the meetings and monitoring the implementation of decisions taken at meetings; • transmitting promptly documents and information connected with the Project to any other Parties concerned; • administering the financial contribution of the Funding Authority and fulfilling the financial tasks described in Section 6; • providing, upon request, the Parties with official copies or originals of documents which are in the sole possession of the Coordinator when those copies or originals are necessary for the Parties to present claims; If one or more of the Parties is late in submission of any project deliverable, the Coordinator may nevertheless submit the other partiesproject deliverables and all other documents required by the Grant Agreement to the Funding Authority in time.

Responsibilities of Coordinator. A drug court coordinator oversees the activity of the team, conducts quality assurance of each team member, maintains client data, remains informed regarding budgetary concerns of the drug court, and coordinates services from each discipline, and the local community, in a manner that is most therapeutic to the drug court participant. Develops team resource strategy to acquire funding. Writes grant applications and manages the program’s budget. Creates opportunities to obtain funding and build linkages by supporting team in community outreach and lobbying activities. Participates in the creation and/or maintenance of information that memorializes program eligibility standards, operating procedures, and rules. Assists in the development of the client contract, confidentiality releases, and entry procedures. Creates memoranda of understanding and linkage agreements. Creates and maintains a data collection system to monitor client compliance, identify trends, and provide a basis for evaluation. Creates interagency linkages to address participants’ ancillary needs in the areas of culture, age, and gender needs, medical and mental health provision, educational, vocational, skills training, and employment training and placement. Shares statistical data showing positive impact of drug court on local community. Contributes to the team’s efforts in community and peer education in the efficacy of drug courts as well as assists with local resource acquisition. Receives formal orientation and training administered by previously trained drug court team members (or other experts) within 60 days of joining the team. Continues to present information and/or participate in on-going cross training to remain knowledgeable about behavioral health field, drug testing and drug trends, laws, cultural issues, behavior modification for target population and overall best practices in the drug court model. Assists in scheduling regular meetings, focused on program structure, policies, and procedures with required attendance of all team members. Conducts regular quality assurance of all services from each discipline and the local community and promotes utilization of evidenced-based best practices. Assures consistency of incentives and sanctions while ensuring each participant is treated as an individual. Actively attends pre-court staff meetings and court sessions.
