The Human Resources Department will provide counsel to the immediate supervisor/manager for all salary changes prior to communicating any salary change to the employee.

Salary Change Approvals. Xxxxxx changes will be requested by the immediate manager of the employee being reviewed, recommended by their man- ager’s manager and approved by the Compensation Manager or Human Resource Management designate. The Human Resources Department will provide counsel to the immediate for all salary changes prior to communicating any salary change to the employee. Employee Performance Review Each employee will receive an annual written performance review prior to November of each year. This review will measure employee performance against job objectives and expected performance standards developed for the review period from the job description and department objectives. Skill requirements and performance criteria should be dis- cussed with the employee and mutually understood at the beginning of the review period. Provision should also be made for employee involvement in the development of objectives and/or action plans. Employee coaching and dis- cussions on the employee's progress should occur during the review period. The written performance review at the end of the review peri- od will also include an overall assessment of the total job per- formance in descriptive terms with respect to a fully trained and experienced employee. The annual performance review should also include a discus- sion concerning the employee's career aspirations and how these might be realized.

  • Salary Scale The salary scale applicable to Employees shall be set out hereinafter in the Wage Schedule.

  • SALARY STEP PLAN AND SALARY ADJUSTMENTS Appointments to positions in the City and County service shall be at the entrance rate established for the position except as otherwise provided herein.

  • Salary Schedule The salaries of employees covered by this agreement are set forth in the salary schedule in Appendix A which is attached to and incorporated into this agreement.

  • Salary Scales ‌ 2.5.1 Effective from 1 January 2024, and subject to the Remuneration provisions in the Terms of Settlement, a 4% increase will apply to all paid and printed rates.   • SALARY SACRIFICE ARRANGEMENTS 34.1 Employees covered by this Agreement will have access to salary sacrifice arrangements in addition to the compulsory arrangement detailed above. The requirements of any such arrangements shall ensure that: (a) Accessing a salary sacrifice arrangement is a voluntary decision to be made by the individual Employee. (b) An Employee wishing to enter into a salary sacrifice arrangement will be required to notify their Employer in writing of the intention to do so and have sought expert advice in relation to entering into such an arrangement. (c) The Employer shall meet the cost of implementing the administrative and payroll arrangements necessary for the introduction of salary sacrifice to the Employees under the Agreement. (d) The co-contribution of superannuation payments referred to herein shall be made by way of salary sacrifice arrangements.

  • Salary Adjustments At any time during the term of this Contract, the Board may, in its discretion, review and adjust the salary of the Superintendent, but in no event shall the Superintendent be paid less than the salary set forth in Section 3.1 of this Contract except by mutual agreement of the two parties. Such adjustments, if any, shall be made pursuant to a lawful Board resolution. In such event, the parties agree to provide their best efforts and reasonable cooperation to execute a new contract incorporating the adjusted salary.

  • Placement on Salary Schedule The following rules shall be applicable in determining placement of a teacher on the appropriate salary schedule.

  • Salary Progression 1. For the purposes of determining annual progression from one step to the next, each teacher’s performance will be assessed annually against the appropriate professional standards. 2. When setting performance expectations and development objective(s) with individual teachers for the coming year, the appropriate professional standards against which the teacher is to be assessed should be confirmed between the teacher and the employer. 3. For each teacher to progress annually to their next salary step they will need to demonstrate that they meet the appropriate professional standards.

  • Salary Schedules (a) The salary schedules shall be incorporated into this Agreement as Appendix V. (b) Salary schedules will contain Career Enhancement/Growth steps as described in Section 45.6.
