Scheduling of Classes. Recommended scheduling of classes shall be submitted by the department Chairperson or designee to the appropriate academic Xxxx. Conflicts in schedules shall be resolved by the appropriate academic Xxxx or Chief Academic Officer working cooperatively with the department Chairperson.
10.7.1 No member with a class, university or department assignment after 6:00 p.m. on one day shall be given any assignment prior to 9:00 a.m. on the next day without the member’s consent.
10.7.2 Whenever possible, instructional activities shall not be canceled without prior consultation with the department Chairperson.
10.7.3 When scheduling or cancelling classes, the department and the Xxxx shall consider the students’ need to graduate on time.
Scheduling of Classes a) Each prep classroom teacher will develop in conjunction with the site principal(s) a schedule which is equivalent to the number of instructional minutes of the classroom teachers at his/her site(s).
b) Even though input from each teacher for preference regarding scheduled prep time will be considered, once an equitable workable schedule is agreed upon, the prep time schedule will take priority over individual classroom schedules (i.e., library, instrumental music, computer lab, etc.).
c) If a teacher’s prep time falls on a holiday or non-student day, prep time for that day is not rescheduled.
d) Prep time will not be scheduled during a classroom teacher’s recess or lunch period.
e) Whenever possible, Monday or Friday prep time schedules should rotate through staff members for equity because of the number of holidays and non-student days which fall on Mondays or Fridays.
f) Prep schedules may be changed for individual teacher needs (i.e., field trips, classroom teacher absence, special programs, etc.) by mutual consent between the affected teachers, including the prep classroom teacher. The site administrator and/or designee will be notified at least 24 hours in advance by the person initiating the change and must approve of any mutually agreed upon change.
g) On minimum days, the prep time will occur according to a pre-arranged and equitable schedule as agreed to by the prep teacher and site administrator.
h) Prep teachers will provide instruction on the first day of each school year. As adjustments in the number of classes assigned to schools are made, schedules will be adjusted.

Scheduling of Classes. 11.1.5.1 Each regular and contract unit member shall prepare a proposed schedule of her/his duties and classes for the upcoming semester in accordance with departmental decisions regarding offerings and schedules, and present it to her/his appropriate administrator at least two weeks in advance of the division's scheduling deadline. The schedule shall be in accordance with the standard workload provisions.
11.1.5.2 The appropriate administrator shall make the final schedule offerings and assignments after reviewing the proposed schedules.

A new schedule for the unit member shall be worked out by the appropriate administrator.
Scheduling of Classes. 8.11.3.6.1 Specialist teachers will develop a schedule which allows each classroom teacher in grades K-3 a minimum of 60 minutes per week and each classroom teacher in grades 4-6 a minimum of 100 minutes per week. Site administrators will review and approve the schedule. Schedules for minimum and super minimum days must also be developed, as prep time will occur according to a pro-rated shortened schedule, except specialists that travel to more than one school on a single day.

Section 2 A teachers' committee may review the schedules and student placements prepared by the principals. The committees may make recommendations to the principals as to changes in the schedules and placements.
