Scope of Work Outline. A. The work under this division shall consist of, but not necessarily be limited to, the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, devices, and equipment required for removal of items indicated on Demolition Drawings. All work under this section shall be in compliance with other trades and sections of this specification.
Scope of Work Outline. The contractor will perform the following: Visual scan Thermographic Scan Oil Sample Test Transformer Turns Ratio (TTR) tests at the as found primary tap. Megger Test/Polarization Index Overall Power Factor tests Note physical condition of transformer Thermographic Inspection Inspection and scanning shall occur during times of maximum possible loading for system to be inspected. Inspection equipment shall include use of thermal scanning devices on all equipment listed herein to evaluate physical and mechanical condition of equipment. Remove all required access panels and covers required to gain access for inspection, where applicable. Contractor shall use necessary caution, safety devices, and personal protective equipment during thermographic inspection. Reports shall include, but not be limited to, equipment description, discrepancies, temperature differences based on appropriate reference areas, areas inspected along with inaccessible and/or unobservable areas and equipment, load conditions at time of inspection, control photographs and thermographs of deficient areas, and recommended action. Upon completion of repairs, rescan affected areas to ensure deficiencies have been corrected Liquid-Filled Transformers- Submersible Inspect the transformer exterior, tank, radiators, pressure-relief devices, auxiliary equipment, and mounting, if applicable. Note any contamination or damage and clean as appropriate. Check ground connections for tightness. Tighten as appropriate. Insulating fluid test report shall be compiled, grading the lab result in category from excellent, good, fair and poor. The report shall be included repair recommendation. The lab report shall be analyzed by the contractor based on the applicable industry standards. Sample test report shall be submitted. Take oil samples from main transformer tank and test dielectric strength, , interfacial tension, neutralization number, color and dielectric strength test. Moisture content and perform dissolved gas analysis. Year 2 through 5 continue with moisture contents and dissolve gas analysis. Take oil samples from primary switch compartment and test dielectric strength on site. Add oil if necessary to fill to the proper level. Purge the air space above the oil and leave filled with nitrogen under positive pressure. Quantity of oil filled and nitrogen gas used must be recorded and be approved by Ga tech representative.   • OF WORK The normal hours of work for an employee are not a guarantee of work per day or per week, or a guarantee of days of work per week. The normal hours of work shall be seven and one-half (7%) hours per day, and seventy-five (75) hours in any period. The normal daily tour shall consist of seven and one-half hours, exclusive of a one-half hour unpaid meal period. Employees shall be entitled to a fifteen (15) minute paid break during each half of the normal daily tour, at a time designated by the Employer. Employees required for reporting purposes shall remain at work for a period of up to fifteen (15) minutes which shall be unpaid. Should the reporting time extend beyond fifteen ( I 5) minutes however, the entire period shall be considered for the purposes of payment. Requests for change in posted work schedules must be submitted in writing and by the employee willing to exchange days off or shifts and are subject to the discretion of the Administrator or her designate. In any event, it is understood that such a change initiated by the employee and approved by the Employer shall not result in overtime compensation or payment or any other claims on the Employer by an employee under the terms of this t Where there is a change to Daylight Savings from Standard Time or vice-versa, an employee who is scheduled and works a full shift shall be paid for a seven and one-half (7.5) hour tour rather than the actual hours worked. The Employer will endeavour to accommodate requests by employees for specific days off and also requests for changes in posted time schedules once the schedule has been posted. Shift schedules shall be posted two (2) weeks in advance and shall cover a minimum of a four (4) week period. The following shall apply to full-time employees: During each pay period, two (2) consecutive days off will be scheduled. Schedules may provide for more than (5) consecutive days of work, but not more than seven (7) consecutive days of work without days off, as long as four (4) days off are scheduled in each fourteen (14) day period. Except as outlined below, meal time of one-half hour shall be scheduled away from the floor during the employee's shift whether day, evening or night. Where there is only one registered employee on duty, it is recognized that this is not possible. Should an employee be recalled to duty during meal time, additional time shall be provided later in the shift.

  • Xxxxx of Work The Contractor shall provide information technology (IT) independent verification and validation (IV&V) services to Customers in accordance with this Statement of Work (SOW). The Contractor shall provide the professional and technical staff necessary to perform the ((IT) IV&V services required by this Contract, and the staff shall have sufficient skill and experience to perform the services assigned to them. All of the (IT) IV&V services to be furnished by the Contractor under the Contract shall meet the professional standard and quality that prevail among IT professionals in the same discipline and of similar knowledge and skill engaged in related work under the same or similar circumstances. The Contractor shall maintain during the term of the Contract all licenses, permits, qualifications, insurance, and approvals of whatever nature that are legally required to perform the (IT) IV&V services.

  • LAYOUT OF WORK The Contractor shall lay out its Work from base lines and benchmarks indicated on the Drawings, and shall be responsible for verification of all measurements in connection with the layout. The Contractor shall furnish all stakes, templates, platforms, equipment, tools, materials, and labor required to lay out any part of the Work. The Contractor shall also be responsible for maintaining and preserving all stakes and other marks established by Princeton University until authorized to remove them. If such marks are destroyed by the Contractor or through its negligence before their removal is authorized, Princeton University may replace them and deduct the expense of the replacement from any amounts due or to become due to the Contractor.
