Second Year and Thereafter. After the first year of the employment term Employee shall receive, in addition to the amount set forth in paragraph 5(a) above, such costs of living increase as the Board of Directors shall determine appropriate considering the position of Employee with the Corporation and the performance of the company over the preceding 12 month period.
Second Year and Thereafter. In the second and each subsequent year of service thereafter, employees will receive 70 hours sick leave credit which shall accrue from the 1st of July yearly. Provided, an employee whose anniversary date occurs prior to 1 July in any given year shall be entitled to take personal leave on a pro-rata basis prior to 1 July in that year, and any leave taken on a pro-rata basis prior to 1 July will not be credited to that employee on 1 July.
Second Year and Thereafter. Thereafter on the 1st July each subsequent year a further 10 days at 7 hours per day credit will be added to the employee’s credits. Out of this entitlement an employee who is absent from work on account of personal illness or injury shall be paid at the annualised wage rate for this absence subject to the following conditions: 24.2.1. Employees shall advise the Company as soon as practicable, of their inability to attend for duty stating as far as practicable the length of time that the illness or injury will prevent them from attending for duty. 24.2.2. The employee shall prove to the satisfaction of the Company that they were on account of the illness or injury, unable to attend for duty on the day or days for which such payment is claimed 24.2.3. The employee shall not be eligible for such payment for any period in respect of which there is an entitlement to Worker’s Compensation.
