Section 15.2.1. An employee having a grievance shall first discuss it with the immediate supervisor. Any 27 grievance not brought to the attention of the immediate supervisor within fifteen (15) working 28 days of the occurrence of the grievance shall be deemed waived by the employee and subject to 29 no appeal hereunder. 30
Section 15.2.1. 30 Salaries contained in Schedule A shall be for the entire term of this Agreement, subject to the terms 31 and conditions of Article XVI, Section 16.3. Should the date of execution of this Agreement be 32 subsequent to the effective date, salaries, including overtime, shall be retroactive to the effective 33 date. 34
Section 15.2.1. 20 Retroactive pay, where applicable, shall be paid on the first regular pay day following 21 execution of this Agreement if possible, and in any case not later than the second regular pay
Section 15.2.1. 7 Employees shall be compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement for all hours
Section 15.2.1. 13 Employees shall be compensated in accordance with the provisions of this Agreement for all 14 hours worked. Each employee shall receive a full accounting and itemization of authorized 15 deductions, hours worked, and rates paid with each paycheck. All employees will be paid over 16 a twelve (12) month period. 18 Section 15.3. 19 Retroactive pay, where applicable, shall be paid on the first or second regular pay day following 20 execution of this Agreement, if possible, and in any case not later than the third regular pay day.
Section 15.2.1. 15 Should the date of execution of this Agreement be subsequent to the effective date, salaries, 16 including overtime, shall be retroactive to the effective date.
Section 15.2.1. 30 Should the Legislature authorize an Implicit Price Deflator (IPD) percentage increase for the 31 2020-2021 school year, or any subsequent school year during the duration of this agreement, 32 Schedule A shall be increased by the same percentage effective September 1, for each school 33 year, in addition to the increases identified below. 35 The Salary Schedule for each school year for the duration of this Agreement will be adjusted 36 pursuant to the following formula: 37 38 After March 1, but no later than April 15, the District will ascertain the mean of the annual 39 value of the current wages, longevity pay, personal leave, vacations, and holidays based on a 40 twelfth (12th) year employee at eight (8) hours per day for each salary level using the following 41 school districts: During the 2019-20 and 2020-21 contract years Bellevue, Federal Way, 42 Issaquah, Kent, Lake Washington, Marysville, Northshore, and Renton. During the 2021-22 43 and 2022-23 contract years Bellevue, Everett, Federal Way, Kent, Issaquah, Lake Washington, 44 Marysville, Mukilteo, Northshore, and Shoreline. As a result of the study, if wages are below 45 the mean wage, then the salaries contained in Schedule A shall be adjusted September, 1st of 46 each school year this contract is in effect, in a manner mutually agreed to by the Association 47 and District. 1 During the 2019-2020 school year, as recognition to the change of implementation of midpoint, 2 an additional 5.3% will be added to Schedule A effective September 1, 2019.
Section 15.2.1. Employees hired between September 1 and the last day of February shall be considered as 31 employees for a full year as of September 1 of the year following their hiring. Employees hired 32 between March 1 and August 31 shall not be eligible to advance on the salary schedule until 33 September 1 of the second school year that follows the school year in which they were 34 employed.
Section 15.2.1. 17 Employees shall first discuss the grievance with their immediate supervisor, unless the employee is 18 fearful of doing so, in which case they may first discuss the grievance with human resources. If 19 employees so wish, they may be accompanied by an Association representative at such discussion. 20 All grievances not brought to the immediate supervisor in accordance with the preceding sentence 21 within thirty (30) days of the occurrence of the grievance shall be invalid and subject to no further 22 processing.
Section 15.2.1. Bus Drivers will receive monthly compensation for four and one-half (4.5) hours worked per 34 day on a 12-month pro-rata payroll warrant. Other work performed will continue to be 35 compensated on the first pay warrant following the payroll cutoff date. Adjustments to pay for 36 the 4.5 hours will occur if an employee takes unpaid leave or when employment is terminated.
