Section 504/ADA Coordinator. The City has appointed a Section 504/ADA Coordinator to perform the functions set out in 24 C.F.R. § 8.53(a) and 28 C.F.R. § 35.107. The City shall maintain a Section 504/ADA Coordinator, designating replacement(s) as needed for compliance with the City’s obligations under Section 504 and the ADA should the Section 504/ADA Coordinator resign or otherwise become unable to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. The City shall advise the Department of the name and contact information of any person designated as Section 504/ADA Coordinator within thirty (30) Days after designation.

The 504/ADA Coordinator is responsible for consulting with the Agreement Coordinator identified in Section IV.C to coordinate the parts of this Agreement that relate to auxiliary aids and services.

In the event that MDHA’s current Section 504/ADA Coordinator resigns or is otherwise terminated prior to the expiration of this Agreement, the MDHA shall designate an Acting Section 504/ADA Coordinator within fourteen (14) days of the resignation or termination of the Section 504/ADA Coordinator.
