Regular Drivers. (a) A Regular Driver shall be a Driver who has been assigned to regular, single, double, special education or career center runs as describedinArticleXII,Section1and aspackaged by the Board, and assigned as per Article XVII, Section 3. (b) Any Driver who drives for the District that does not meet the above criteria shall be a Substitute Driver. (c) The normal regularly scheduled work week shall consist of forty (40) hours from Sunday through Saturday. (d) The normal regularly scheduled work day for Drivers shall be the hours required to drive the regularly scheduled bus runs, single or double, that each Driver makes daily. (e) Extra trips that do not conflict with regular runs will be offered to all Drivers based on seniority rotation. (f) An up-to-date seniority rotation list shall be maintained and posted in the garage.

(b) Any Driver who drives for the District that does not meet the above criteria shall be a Substitute Driver. There are two divisions of substitute drivers: Retainers and On Call. Retainer Substitute Driver The Retainer Substitute Driver will be considered full time, they will work a four hour day that consists of duties as assigned. *Seniority is based on hire date in the full time position. *Pay is based on experience of the driver and supervisor's recommendation. *The driver will be assigned a route or other duties as needed by the supervisor. *The driver will report according to the daily routine of other drivers. *Although this position is considered full time, it is not considered a bidding position. On Call Substitute Driver The On Call Substitute Driver will be considered part time, they will report to the district as needed and directed by the supervisor. The On Call driver will be called as needed. *Seniority is based on the date the On Call Driver becomes full time status. If they have already worked their fifty (50) working days of probation, their benefits and bidding trips may also start on their hire date to full time. *The probationary period may start at the time of hire and will last fifty (50) working days. *If/When the On Call Driver becomes a full time driver the supervisor may continue their probationary period or start the fifty (50) working days over. *The On Call Driver's pay will be based on the scale of the contract or years of experience at the supervisor's discretion. Regular Drivers. (a) Effective for the 2014-2015 contract year, for regular full time employed drivers, shall be offered a group health care plan medical option. The district will pay eighty percent (80%) of the single subscriber rate toward the premium cost of a single coverage medical insurance plan as offered by the district. The employee will be responsible for the 20% difference of the district`s contribution at the single subscriber rate. If the employee wishes to select an alternative medical insurance plan, the employee is responsible for the additional cost beyond the 80% of district contribution of the base rate of the district offered medical insurance plan. Employees may elect two-person or Family coverage and pay the cost difference between the cost of single subscriber district contribution and the two-person or family plan. The employee will pay the deductible amount of their enrollment status and any cost beyond the specified district contribution. (b) Beginning as of the first plan year in 2015, each individual who is employed in an eligible job classification (in the sole discretion of the district) and who regularly works 30 hours per week or more shall be offered a group health plan medical coverage option at an employee cost of no more than 9.5% of income for employee coverage only. If the employee wishes to select a medical coverage health plan at a higher rate other than the district offered plan, the employee will be responsible for all additional costs beyond the base rate of the district offered medical insurance plan.

Regular Drivers. Have completed their probation period. Have made themselves available to the Company for full-time employment under this Agreement. Full-time employment means any Yellow Bus division drivers who are scheduled for a morning and an afternoon shift Monday to Thursday. Have joined the Union.
