Section 9.2.2. 46 Emergency leave may be granted by the Director of Employee Services or designee for 47 bereavement purposes where the death is not covered by this policy. If the deceased has 1 substantially the same association with the employee as his parent or child would have, then 2 bereavement leave may be granted at the discretion of the Director of Employee Services or 3 designee.
Section 9.2.2Employees who work less than twelve (12) months per year and are paid on a contracted basis 29 will receive compensation for vacation on a month-to-month basis. Section 9.2.2. The District shall cash out all unused personal leave at Step One of the employee’s pay 24 category. Employees may request on a form generated by Human Resources to carry over 26 one or two days of personal leave into the subsequent school year. The request must be made 27 by June 30th of the current year, or all unused personal days will be cashed out at Step One of 28 the employee’s pay category. In the event of a double maintenance and operations levy failure, 29 this cash out provision of this section shall not apply for the following school year.
