Seniority Adjustment. If leave is taken to accept other gainful employment, the Union reserves the right to adjust the employee's seniority date.

Seniority Adjustment a. City and classification seniority shall continue to accrue during all types of paid leave except for leaves of absence or suspensions without pay that are in excess of thirty (30)-consecutive calendar days.
