SHIFT PREMIUMS AND DIFFERENTIALS. 14.01 Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) & Health Care Aide (HCA) Weekday (Mon- Fri) Premiums (a) In addition to their regular rate of pay, Employees shall be paid an Evening premium of two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) per hour where a majority of the shift falls between fifteen hundred (1500) hours and twenty-three hundred (2300) hours. (b) In addition to their regular rate of pay, Employees shall be paid a Night premium of three dollars and twenty-five cents ($3.25) per hour where a majority of the shift falls between twenty-three hundred (2300) hours and zero seven hundred hours (0700). 14.02 Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) & Health Care Aide (HCA) Weekend (Sat- 0001 hrs to Sun-2359 hrs) Premiums (a) In addition to their regular rate of pay, Employees shall be paid a premium of two dollars and twenty-five cents ($2.25) per hour where a majority of the shift falls between zero seven hundred (0700) and fifteen hundred (1500) hours. (b) In addition to their regular rate of pay, Employees shall be paid a premium of two dollars and fifty cents ($2.50) per hour where a majority of the shift falls between fifteen hundred (1500) hours and twenty-three hundred (2300) hours. (c) In addition to their regular rate of pay, Employees shall be paid a premium of three dollars and twenty-five cents ($3.25) per hour where a majority of the shift falls between twenty-three hundred (2300) hours and zero seven hundred hours (0700).

Effective December 31, 2023 the evening shift shall be compensated two dollars ($2.00) per hour for all hours worked. Effective December 31, 2023 the weekend night shift shall be compensated three dollars and twenty-five cents ($3.25) per hour for all hours worked. 15.03 All other Employee Classification Weekday (Mon-Fri) Premiums In addition to their regular rate of pay. Employees shall be paid a premium of one dollar ($1.00) per hour for all hours worked between nineteen hundred (1900) hours and zero seven hundred (0700) hours. 15.04 All other Employee Classification Weekend (Sat-0001 Hrs to Sun-2359 Hrs) Premiums In addition to their regular rate of pay, Employees shall be paid a premium of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) per hour for all hours worked between zero one (0001) hours Saturday and twenty-three hundred and fifty nine (2359) hours Sunday. 15.05 All premiums under this Article shall not be considered as part of the Employee’s Basic Rate of Pay.

  • Weekend Differential Employees assigned to State institutions other than Maine State Prison shall be eligible for a weekend differential of fifty cents ($.50) per hour to the base for shifts beginning between 10:00 p.m. Friday and 9:59 p.m.

  • Shift Differential A. Shift differential will be $.60 cents per hour. B. Employees eligible for shift differential are those whose work shift begins before 6:00 a.m. or ends on or after 7:00 p.m. and are scheduled by their supervisor for a total shift of at least six (6) hours in duration. This shift differential shall not apply to those employees who have requested and have been granted flexible work scheduling.

  • Shift Premium Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety-five cents (95c/ ) per hour for each hour worked between 1500 hours and 0700 hours provided that such hours exceed two (2) hours if worked in conjunction with the day shift.

  • Bilingual Differential When formally assigned in the employee’s position description, an employee assigned to interpret to or from another language to English will receive a differential of five percent (5%) of base pay.
