A Full-time Shiftworker whose normal rostered day off falls on a University-observed public holiday, as defined in clause 49, Public Holidays, is entitled to an additional day’s leave in lieu to be taken within the following 12 months. A Full-time Shiftworker required to work hours in addition to their rostered shift, or on a rostered day off, will be paid Overtime in accordance with clause 26, Overtime. Shiftwork Allowance Entitlements. Security Staff Members who, as at the date of commencement of this Agreement, are working as per a Roster within the Working Hours Framework, will retain the loadings preserved in their contracts of employment until such time as the Working Hours Framework undergoes major change in accordance with clause 28.3.7. Within the Working Hours Framework, where a Roster is altered on account of a contingency that the Line Manager could not have been reasonably expected to foresee, a Continuous Shiftworker will be provided with at least 24 hours’ notice of a changed shift.

  • Shift Allowances (a) An Employee whilst on afternoon or night shift must be paid for such shift 15% more than the Employee’s ordinary rate.

  • Cash Allowances (a) The Guaranteed Price includes cash allowances as set out in the Specifications which shall be expended as Owner directs through the Consultant by a Cash Allowance Disbursement Authorization.

  • Safety Boot Allowance ‌ Effective January 1, 2022, except for temporary and probationary employees, the Employer agrees to pay one hundred and eighty-five dollars ($185.00) in January of each year towards the cost of safety boots for each full time employee requiring them and one hundred ($100.00) dollars for each part time employee requiring them under the Occupational Health and Safety Act and/or by the Employer, provided the Employee is not eligible for safety footwear through the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board.

  • Safety Shoe Allowance For each unit member required by the City to wear safety shoes, the City shall provide a voucher from the City-designated department for up to one hundred and fifty dollars ($150) annually toward the cost of acquiring one pair of safety shoes through the City vendor.

  • Boot Allowance The District will pay $180 toward the purchase and/or repair of work boots for District Employees listed in the District’s Work Apparel Policy and/or at the discretion of the employee’s department manager. Payment will be made by the first full paycheck of the employee’s date of hire and annually thereafter. Boots must meet applicable OSHA standards for the duties assigned.

  • Training Allowance Operators who are required by the Employer to provide training to a specified level and to certify to the competency of the employees so trained shall receive twelve dollars ($12) per day while training. In such cases, the most senior qualified operator with the capability to provide training in the required class of equipment shall be given the opportunity to provide such training.

  • Vehicle Allowance (a) Vehicle allowance for all kilometres travelled on the Employer’s business shall be paid to employees who are required to use their own vehicles in the performance of their duties.
