Common use of Sick Leave During Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Sick Leave During Leave of Absence. Where an employee does not receive payment for a period exceeding one-half (½) the number of working days in any month due to absence for any reason, no sick leave credits shall accumulate for that month, but the employee shall maintain any sick leave credits existing at the time of the commencement of the absence, upon his return to work.
