Sick Leave Entitlement. 31.6.1 An Employee is entitled to use up to (Based on a 7.5 hour day) All employees shall accumulate a maximum of ten (10) days per annum year at a rate of accumulation of one day per month. On January 1 of each year, any unused portion of an employeeís sick leave shall be paid out at the rate of fifty percent (ie in any one year50%) of their paid personal carer’s leave accruals as paid any unused sick leave. Sick Leave Entitlement. 31.6.1 An Employee is (a) Employees are entitled to use 10 days' sick leave when they commence employment. The employee will then become entitled to five days' sick leave after each subsequent six months of service. The increments will stop after 50 increments of five days have been made.

(a) In the event an employee is unable to work because of illness or injury he/she will be entitled to use up a benefit of 66 and two-thirds pay for a period not to exceed 17 weeks to a maximum of ten $600 per week.
(10b) Employees are also entitled to seven days per annum (ie in any one year) of their paid personal carer’s leave accruals as paid sick leave in accordance with per year which they may carryover and accumulate to a maximum of 12 days. These days may be used for the AFPCSperiod of time leading up to entitlement to STIIP or any occasions not covered by STIIP.
