Additional Entitlement. Employees Regularly Rostered On Call (i) they are rostered on call: (1) during weekend days or public holidays; or (2) on days that they are not rostered for duty; and (ii) they are rostered on a minimum of two days per four week cycle, over 12 cycles in an anniversary year.
Additional Entitlement. On July 1st of each year, each eligible full time employee shall receive an additional four (4) hours of vacation. Eligible part-time employees shall receive a pro-rata of the four (4) hours on the basis of their established work schedule. These hours shall be added to their vacation accrual amount. 4.1-4 Accrual Employees are expected to take their vacations. In no event may employees carry over more than 168 hours of vacation time each fiscal year without approval of the President or designee. Employees requesting to carry over hours in excess of 168 must submit their request in writing to the appropriate vice president. 4.1-5 Duration Vacations may be taken by separate days or weeks, but not less than four (4) hour increments. Vacation time taken cannot exceed eight (8) hours per day nor forty (40) hours per week. 4.1 6 Selection Selection of vacation dates is subject to approval of the employee's supervisor and in compliance with departmental procedures, and that requests shall be submitted in writing in a timely fashion. An employee will be given preference as to the time of his/her vacation on the basis of seniority when in compliance with departmental procedures and the approval of the supervisor. Those employees who have not complied with the requirements shall have their vacation requests considered on a first-come, first-served basis. Once an employee has scheduled his/her vacation, that vacation may not be rescheduled without the approval of the employee's supervisor and the employee.
Additional Entitlement. 40.9.1 Where an Employee has exhausted all personal leave entitlements and circumstances necessitate, QVM will consider any proposal to provide further assistance to the Employee. 40.9.2 Apart from the provision of ▇▇▇▇▇'s leave arrangements, QVM will consider ways in which any Employee with carer responsibilities for a person with a terminal illness can be adequately supported.
Additional Entitlement shift workers 2.1 In addition to the above basic entitlement, Shift Employees who regularly work Sundays and Public Holidays will be entitled to an additional 37.5 hours for each 12 month period worked or pro-rated accordingly.
