Sick Leave (Section 29). The provisions of Section 29 shall be applicable to regular part-time employees except that sick leave benefits will be computed on the average number of hours worked per day during the year sick leave benefits were earned with a minimum of three and one-half hours (3 ½). It is also agreed and understood that all hours of earned sick leave benefits will be credited as hours worked for the purpose of computing sick leave benefits and vacation pay. Previous year sick leave time taken shall be included in the computation of numbers of hours worked for the ensuing sick leave benefits.
Sick Leave (Section 29). 1 Sick leave shall be granted to regular and part-time Employees in accordance with the following provisions. Sick leave is provided as a benefit to the Employee. Employees have no vested right to Sick leave except as set forth below.
