SKILL MIX. 3.4.1 In health unit sites (other than country health unit sites) the skill mix for inpatient units is 70:30 registered nurses/midwives to enrolled nurses/assistant in nursing/midwifery. Either party may seek to have the skill mix in a health unit site or part thereof adjusted should any role, service requirement or change in service volume occur in such health unit site or part thereof. 3.4.2 In country health unit sites the skill mix is maintained at the level set out in Appendix 4 (with a positive/negative tolerance factor of 5%) averaged over a 12 month period. Either party may seek to have the skill mix in a country health unit site or part thereof adjusted should any role, service requirement or change in service volume occur at that country health unit site or part thereof. 3.4.3 Graduate nurses/midwives are to be included in the RN/M ratio but are not, unless otherwise agreed between the parties, to be rostered as the only registered nurse/midwife in a health unit site or patient care area in the first 6 months of employment. 3.4.4 DH will consult with the ANMF to review the current skill mix methodologies over the life of the Agreement with the intent of establishing clear staffing standards that reflect operational and clinical need. Each site will ensure that an appropriate mix of staff is provided to meet patient care needs at any time of the day in all patient care areas. The consideration of the mix should take into account the relative skills and experience of the nursing/midwifery group, patient activity and levels of acuity, and reflect an appropriate scope of practice. 3.4.5 The parties will identify appropriate terms of reference and governance arrangements.
SKILL MIX. (a) In order to provide an efficient and effective service, Happy Talk Ltd supports skill mix within our Team. Our Speech and Language Therapists take responsibility for the SLCNs of all the children referred to them. (b) The Speech and Language Therapist is responsible for the assessment, communication plans and ongoing review of children on their caseload. The Speech and Language Therapist also takes responsibility for any supervised work undertaken by our experienced Speech and Language Assistant Practitioners and student Speech and Language Therapists.
SKILL MIXIn order to meet the therapeutic needs of the children attending Haringey schools, Therapists have a range of specialist and developing specialist roles. The Therapists and Nurses are managed by a Professional Lead within their own specialty alongside an Operational Therapy Lead who provides a point of contact for schools and operational management of the therapists within the school multi-disciplinary teams. There are then specialists and developing specialists in different therapeutic areas e.g. dysphagia, neurodisability, postural management, ASD. As the populations of Haringey’s Special Schools change, the needs for therapists at different sites changes and as such flexibility of staff is required to meet the needs of the population. Therapy Assistants within the schools are the most effective way of providing carryover and sharing of therapeutic skills. These assistants have historically been funded by the schools.   • Autism Services This plan covers the following services for the treatment of autism spectrum disorders. • Applied behavior analysis when provided and/or supervised by an individual licensed by the state in which the service is rendered. See the Summary of Medical Benefits for the amount that you pay. • Physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy services when rendered as part of the treatment of autism spectrum disorder. A benefit limit will not apply to these services. • Psychological and psychiatric services, and prescription drugs are also covered. See Behavioral Health Services and Prescription Drugs and Diabetic Equipment or Supplies for additional information. Coverage for autism spectrum disorders does not affect any obligation of a school district, a state or other governmental entity to provide services to an individual under an individualized family service plan, an individualized education program, or similar services required under state or federal law. Services related to autism that are furnished by school personnel are not covered under this plan.

  • Personnel Provide, without remuneration from or other cost to the Trust, the services of individuals competent to perform the administrative functions which are not performed by employees or other agents engaged by the Trust or by the Adviser acting in some other capacity pursuant to a separate agreement or arrangement with the Trust.

  • Capabilities A. The Parties agree that the DRE must possess the legal, technical, and financial capacity to: (1) Accept and expend non-federal funds consistent with Section 4.2.4; (2) Accept transfer of the FERC license and title for the Facilities from PacifiCorp; (3) Seek and obtain necessary permits and other authorizations to implement Facilities Removal; (4) Enter into appropriate contracts and grant agreements for effectuating Facilities Removal; (5) Perform, directly or by oversight, Facilities Removal; (6) Prevent, mitigate, and respond to damages the DRE or any of its contractors, subcontractors, or assigns cause during the course of Facilities Removal, and, consistent with Applicable Law, respond to and defend associated liability claims against the DRE or any of its contractors, subcontractors, or assigns, including costs thereof and any judgments or awards resulting therefrom; (7) Carry the required insurance and bonding set forth in Appendix L to respond to liability and damages claims associated with Facilities Removal against the DRE or any of its contractors, subcontractors, or assigns; (8) Meet the deadlines set forth in Exhibit 4; and (9) Perform such other tasks as are reasonable and necessary for Facilities Removal. B. Before the DRE and PacifiCorp file the joint application to transfer the license for the Facilities, the DRE will Timely demonstrate to the reasonable satisfaction of the States and PacifiCorp that it possesses the legal, technical, and financial capacity to accomplish the tasks in Sections 7.1.2.A(1) through (5), (8), and (9). PacifiCorp and the States will consult if the DRE fails to make the demonstration required in this subsection. C. Within six months of the DRE’s execution of the Settlement, the DRE will include in an informational filing in the FERC license transfer proceeding proof that it possesses the legal, technical, and financial capacity to accomplish the tasks in Sections 7.1.2.A(6) and (7). This filing will include documentation that the DRE meets the requirements of Parts II, III, and IV of Appendix L and is capable of fulfilling its obligations under Section 7.1.3. The DRE will not provide the filing if either of the States or PacifiCorp objects to the filing after a reasonable opportunity to review before submission to FERC. The six-month deadline may be changed by agreement of the DRE, the States, and PacifiCorp. The Parties will Meet and Confer if the DRE fails to provide the informational filing to FERC.

  • Geometric visibility The visibility of the illuminating surface, including its visibility in areas which do not appear to be illuminated in the direction of observation considered, shall be ensured within a divergent space defined by generating lines based on the perimeter of the illuminating surface and forming an angle of not less than 5° with the axis of reference of the headlamp.

  • The Web Services E-Verify Employer Agent agrees to, consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, commit sufficient personnel and resources to meet the requirements of this MOU.

  • SKILLED TRADES Note: The provisions of the Collective Agreement shall apply to the skilled trades except as altered by the provisions of this Article. 30.01 Skilled trade classifications for the purpose of this Collective Agreement will be as follows: 30.02 Seniority shall be by skilled trade classification, that is classifications will be non-interchangeable. 30.03 Employees entering a skilled trade classification shall have a seniority date as of the entry into such classification (including the apprenticeship period if such period was served in the Company). 30.04 A non-skilled trades (i.e. production) employee will not exercise his or her seniority rights in any skilled trade classification, nor will any skilled trades employee exercise seniority in any production classification after the date of ratification except as set forth in Article 31.07(d). 30.05 In the event that a skilled trades employee (i.e. apprentice or journeyman) is unable to perform his or her job as defined in Article 18, the provisions of Article 18 will apply. In no event will these provisions contravene the Human Rights Code. 30.06 The term 'journeyman' as used in this Article shall mean any person: (a) Who presently is in a skilled trades classification; or (b) Who has served a bona fide apprenticeship and has a certificate which substantiates his/her claim of such service; or (c) Who has had eight (8) years of practical experience and can prove same with proper affidavits. The Company will consider the possession of a CAW/UAW journeyman/woman card as presumptive proof of qualifications. 30.07 In the event of a reduction in the work force of any skilled trades classification, the following procedure will apply: (a) First, probationary journeyman within a classification shall be laid off; (b) Second, apprentices within a classification shall be laid off based upon the first to go will be the last who entered the program; (c) Third, if further reductions in a skilled trades classification are required, journeyman shall, in reverse order of seniority (junior employee first) in such a classification, be laid off. (d) In the event of a layoff, skilled trades journeyperson employees will be allowed one time only to displace production employees, provided that such skilled trades journeyperson employees are originally production employees and in accordance with Article 14 of this Agreement. Skilled trades journeyperson employees must return to their skilled trades jobs as soon as they are recalled. (e) In the event of the disqualification of an apprentice, he/she will be allowed, one time only, to displace a production employee, provided that such apprentice was originally a production employee and in accordance with Article 14 of this Agreement. 30.08 In the event that there is an increase in any skilled trade classification, recall shall be made in reverse order of seniority, commencing with journeyman then 30.09 In the event the Company acquires some advanced type of machinery or equipment that would call for special servicing by skilled trades employees, it is agreed that the skilled trades employees will be trained so that they may become familiar with the necessary repair and maintenance techniques required. In the case of initial installations of new equipment, processes, technology and warranty work, the Company will involve a minimum of one (1) skilled trades employee of each affected trade with the supplier's on-site personnel for training purposes. 30.10 (1) The Company and Union recognize the importance of the following principles: (i) The Company recognizes the Union's desire to perform all Skilled Trades work covered under the jurisdiction of this contract except as amended below. (ii) The Company will not use subcontracting as a method of eliminating overtime for Skilled Trade employees (iii) The parties recognize that where the Company meets its obligations as set forth in Article 31 (including overtime opportunities), there shall be no additional responsibility on the part of the Company to pay additional overtime to any other employee. However, where it is alleged that the Company has not met its obligations under Article 31, the employee concerned and/or Union shall have the right to seek redress under the grievance procedure.

  • Expertise Such Member alone, or together with its representatives, possesses such expertise, knowledge and sophistication in financial and business matters generally, and in the type of transactions in which the Company proposes to engage in particular, that such Member is capable of evaluating the merits and economic risks of acquiring and holding the Units, and that such Member is able to bear all such economic risks now and in the future;

  • Focus The focus of the nursing role is responding to the health needs of individuals, families and communities. The registered nurse is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of consumer care.

  • The Services The HSP agrees to provide the Services on the terms and conditions of this PFA including all of its Appendices and schedules.

  • Data Necessary to Perform Services The Trust or its agent shall furnish to USBFS the data necessary to perform the services described herein at such times and in such form as mutually agreed upon.
