Specialty Mental Health Services. 2.1. Specialty mental health services shall be provided to children and youth who are currently eligible for full scope Medi-Cal.
Specialty Mental Health Services. CONTRACTOR shall provide comprehensive specialized mental health services, as defined in the California Code of Regulations Title 9, Rehabilitative and Developmental Services, Chapter 11, Section 1810.247, to children and youth who meet the criteria established by, and in accordance with Placer County Children’s System of Care. Services shall emphasize a social rehabilitation approach as established in the California Code of Regulations, Title 9. Services provided under this section shall be reimbursed at the State Maximum Allowance (SMA) for each mode of service provided. CONTRACTOR shall also provide comprehensive specialized mental health services to children and youth identified by Placer County and who are participating in a Full Service Partnership program.
Specialty Mental Health Services. CONTRACTOR shall provide limited Specialty Mental Health Services for those who meet EPSDT criteria for medical necessity. These mental health services include assessment, individual/ family/group therapy, individual/group rehabilitation, collateral services, plan development, and case management services. CONTRACTOR shall comply with all Medi-Cal charting and documentation standards. Service activities may include, but are not limited to:
Specialty Mental Health Services. Specialty mental health services shall be provided to children and youth who are currently eligible for full scope Medi-Cal. Specialty mental health services shall be provided to children and youth receiving Child Welfare Services as identified by the COUNTY. Some children and youth will not be eligible for full-scope Medi-Cal, but will be eligible for services due to their status in the Child Welfare System.
Specialty Mental Health Services. An array of specialty mental health services is available to Medi-Cal beneficiaries who meet medical necessity. Services are aimed at ameliorating mental health symptoms, utilizing individual, group or family-based interventions that are designed to provide reduction of the client’s mental or emotional disability, restoration, improvement and/or preservation of individual and community functioning. Specialty mental health services include Assessment, Plan Development, Collateral, Therapy (Individual, Family, and/or Group), Rehabilitation (Individual and/or Group) and Crisis Intervention. Specialty Mental Health services are to be delivered within the least restrictive and most normative environment that is clinically appropriate. Crisis intervention services are available 24/7 and will be delivered in the clinic or in the community. When placement outside of the home is necessary, out-of-home placement will be provided at the lowest appropriate level and services will be expedited so the child/youth can quickly return home, whenever possible.
Specialty Mental Health Services. A. CONTRACTOR will accept, diagnose, and treat Medi-Cal Beneficiaries (“Beneficiary” or “Client”) referred for the provision of specialized mental health services. These services will be provided in accordance with BHSD’s policies and procedures, which are included in Contractor Manual; and as stated in Section IV, titled “Compliance and Legal Requirements” of this AGREEMENT.

  • Health Services At the time of employment and subject to (b) above, full credit for registered professional nursing experience in a school program shall be given. Full credit for registered professional nursing experience may be given, subject to approval by the Human Resources Division. Non-degree nurses shall be placed on the BA Track of the Teachers Salary Schedule and shall be ineligible for movement to any other track.

  • Behavioral Health Services Behavioral health services include the evaluation, management, and treatment for a mental health or substance use disorder condition. For the purpose of this plan, substance use disorder does not include addiction to or abuse of tobacco and/or caffeine. Mental health or substance use disorders are those that are listed in the most updated volume of either: • the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) published by the American Psychiatric Association; or • the International Classification of Disease Manual (ICD) published by the World Health Organization. This plan provides parity in benefits for behavioral healthcare services. Please see Section 10 for additional information regarding behavioral healthcare parity. Inpatient This plan covers behavioral health services if you are inpatient at a general or specialty hospital. See Inpatient Services in Section 3 for additional information. Residential Treatment Facility This plan covers services at behavioral health residential treatment facilities, which provide: • clinical treatment; • medication evaluation management; and • 24-hour on site availability of health professional staff, as required by licensing regulations. Intermediate Care Services This plan covers intermediate care services, which are facility-based programs that are: • more intensive than traditional outpatient services; • less intensive than 24-hour inpatient hospital or residential treatment facility services; and • used as a step down from a higher level of care; or • used a step-up from standard care level of care. Intermediate care services include the following: • Partial Hospital Program (PHP) – PHPs are structured and medically supervised day, evening, or nighttime treatment programs providing individualized treatment plans. A PHP typically runs for five hours a day, five days per week. • Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) – An IOP provides substantial clinical support for patients who are either in transition from a higher level of care or at risk for admission to a higher level of care. An IOP typically runs for three hours per day, three days per week.

  • Emergency Medical Services The City’s Fire Department and MedStar (or other entity engaged by the City after the Effective Date) will provide emergency medical services.
