Referential Antecedents. Xxxx XxxxxxxPrivate School No. 1 children´s performance in English has become worse, because when they go to higher levels (High School and University), the problems grow in the same way; this causes a number of significant effects in the way of learning in school. It is difficult for teachers to find a methodology that matches the level of education to be achieved; parents do not know how to help their children with homework that comes in another language; for that, it becomes a difficulty not easy to be solved. Among the other causes for a low student´s performance rests the reason for this research, qualitative deficiencies inside the institution has been observed; however, not many control measures have been applied which might help to finish the problems on English learning. Therefore, I hope this proposal could be the first tool to finish the problem It is very important that we pay special attention to children on school age; so, even with the modesty of this work, we believe that making it original by the magnitude of the objectives to be accomplished, its existence is relevant to students and teachers who belong to this institution.

Referential Antecedents. When we went to do this research into the files at Xxxxxxx State University (UNEMI) we could not find any reference on similar topics to which we present here. Most of the topics have to do with methodological strategies applied directly to the teaching of the English language. This project is an application to the Technical Area and specifically to the field of the electricity where tools and electric equipment are manipulated reading original manuals that are edited on English language that difficult the development of the activities programmed in the Didactic Units5. 2.1.2.1. Learning how to do it… is one of the pillars where the Education is sustained based on Labor Competitions, therefore, knowledge about the reading of technical manuals are fundamental to the bachelors of the High School so they can be inserted into the labor system, which is "Educating for Life". A technical booklet accomplishes diverse functions that go from suggestions to approach the basic text and the depth of knowledge of English according to the specialization. The proposal of this document is to show these reasons and making aware the youth and its families of the enormous importance of acquiring this language, through the way of joy, happiness and games, with new strategies to work in class; this is the time for all those audiovisual resources that are waiting for a long time to break free. Finally, English is the tool that allows the communication with people of other countries, inside the global world we live in. It is unquestionable: English has become the global language of communication by excellence, one of those of more use in the world. It is an official language, or it has a special status, in about 75 territories in the entire world.

  • NO STRIKES AND NO LOCKOUTS 5:01 The Employer undertakes that there will be no lockout as defined in the Labour Relations Act during the term of this Agreement. The Union undertakes that there will be no strike as defined in the Labour Relations Act during the term of this Agreement.

  • NO STRIKES OR LOCKOUTS 5.01 The Union agrees there will be no strikes and the Employer agrees there will be no lockouts during the term of this Agreement. The term "strike" and "lockout" shall bear the meaning given them in the Ontario Labour Relations Act, as amended.

  • Geological and archaeological finds It is expressly agreed that mining, geological or archaeological rights do not form part of this Agreement with the Contractor for the Works, and the Contractor hereby acknowledges that it shall not have any mining rights or interest in the underlying minerals, fossils, antiquities, structures or other remnants or things either of particular geological or archaeological interest and that such rights, interest and property on or under the Site shall vest in and belong to the Authority or the concerned Government Instrumentality.   • Violence Against Women The parties hereby recognize and share the concern that women uniquely face situations of violence or abuse in their personal lives that may affect their attendance or performance at work. A woman who is in an abusive or violent personal or domestic situation will not be subjected to discipline without giving full consideration to the facts in the case of each individual and the circumstances surrounding the incident otherwise supportive of discipline.   • Rule Against Perpetuities The Members do not intend that there shall be any violation of the Rule Against Perpetuities, the Rule Against Unreasonable Restraints on the Alienation of Property, or any similar rule. Accordingly, if any right or option to acquire any interest in the Properties, in an Ownership Interest, in the Assets, or in any real property exists under this Agreement, such right or option must be exercised, if at all, so as to vest such interest within time periods permitted by applicable rules. If, however, any such violation should inadvertently occur, the Members hereby agree that a court shall reform that provision in such a way as to approximate most closely the intent of the Members within the limits permissible under such rules.

  • No Unlawful Influence The Company has not offered, or caused the Underwriters to offer, the Units to any person or entity with the intention of unlawfully influencing: (a) a customer or supplier of the Company or any affiliate of the Company to alter the customer’s or supplier’s level or type of business with the Company or such affiliate or (b) a journalist or publication to write or publish favorable information about the Company or any such affiliate.

  • Illegal or Unauthorized Payments; Political Contributions Neither the Company nor any of its Subsidiaries nor, to the best of the Company’s knowledge (after reasonable inquiry of its officers and directors), any of the officers, directors, employees, agents or other representatives of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries or any other business entity or enterprise with which the Company or any Subsidiary is or has been affiliated or associated, has, directly or indirectly, made or authorized any payment, contribution or gift of money, property, or services, whether or not in contravention of applicable law, (i) as a kickback or bribe to any Person or (ii) to any political organization, or the holder of or any aspirant to any elective or appointive public office except for personal political contributions not involving the direct or indirect use of funds of the Company or any of its Subsidiaries.

  • STRIKES OR LOCKOUTS 5.01 During the term of this Agreement, or while negotiations for a further agreement are being held the Union will not permit or encourage any strike, slowdown, or any stoppage of work or otherwise restrict or interfere with the Employer's operation through its members. 5.02 During the term of this Agreement, or while negotiations for a further agreement are being held, the Employer will not engage in any lockout of its employees or deliberately restrict or reduce the hours of work.

  • Covenant Against Gratuities The Contractor warrants that no gratuities (in the form of entertainment, gifts, or otherwise) were offered or given by the Contractor, or any agent or representative of the Contractor, to any officer or employee of the State with a view toward securing the Contract or securing favorable treatment with respect to any determinations concerning the performance of the Contract. For breach or violation of this warranty, the State shall have the right to terminate the Contract, either in whole or in part, and any loss or damage sustained by the State in procuring on the open market any items which Contractor agreed to supply shall be borne and paid for by the Contractor. The rights and remedies of the State provided in this clause shall not be exclusive and are in addition to any other rights and remedies provided by law or in equity.
