Split Time Run Sample Clauses

A Split Time Run clause defines how time is measured and allocated for different segments or phases of a project or contract. In practice, this clause specifies that the overall timeline is divided into distinct periods, each with its own deadlines or milestones, and may require separate tracking or reporting for each segment. This approach helps ensure that progress is monitored more precisely, allows for better management of delays or extensions in specific phases, and provides clarity on responsibilities and expectations throughout the project.
Split Time Run. 168. For the purpose of this Agreement, a split-time-run shall be defined as “any run containing two or more pieces of work separated by a paid or unpaid break.” If the break in a split-time-run is two hours or less, the break shall be an unpaid break. For full-time operators only, if the break in a split-time-run exceeds two hours, the Operator shall be paid at straight time for the period of the break in the split-time-run that is in excess of two hours. While being paid during a break in a split-time-run that exceeds two hours, the Operator shall stand by in the report room to accept any assignments within the Operator’s competence that SFMTA requires. Such assignments will be work in the customary line of work performed by the Operator.
