Spring Semester Tenure-Track Appointments. Year Zero (0) of Tenure Track This section applies to faculty members who are newly appointed to a tenure-track position in the Spring semester, and who did not work for the District at a load of 0.5 FTE or greater during the immediately preceding Fall semester. If the first semester of tenure-track employment falls during the Spring semester, the first Spring performance review is conducted to conform to California Education Code §87663a. The review is placed in the reviewee’s personnel file, but the reviewee is not required to respond to any recommendations from the first Spring review in the subsequent Fall review, nor will any aspects of the first Spring review be used to sustain a less than satisfactory review or a non-renewal of the faculty member’s contract during the subsequent Fall semester. Observations and recommendations from the first Spring review may be used in the second and subsequent probationary years if they are relevant to an ongoing pattern of practice or behavior. Year One (1) of the faculty member’s tenure-track appointment and reviews begins in Fall of the academic year immediately following the Spring semester of hiring.   • Appointment of Key Sub-Contractors The Supplier shall ensure that all Sub-Contracts contain a provision: requiring the Supplier to pay any undisputed sums which are due from it to the Sub-Contractor within a specified period not exceeding thirty (30) days from the receipt of a valid invoice; requiring that any invoices submitted by a Sub-Contractor shall be considered and verified by the Supplier in a timely fashion and that undue delay in doing so shall not be sufficient justification for failing to regard an invoice as valid and undisputed; requiring the Sub-Contractor to include in any Sub-Contract which it in turn awards suitable provisions to impose, as between the parties to that Sub-Contract, requirements to the same effect as those required by sub-clauses 5.17.1 and 5.17.2 directly above; and conferring a right to the Customer to publish the Supplier’s compliance with its obligation to pay undisputed invoices within the specified payment period. The Supplier shall pay any undisputed sums which are due from it to a Sub-Contractor within thirty (30) days from the receipt of a valid invoice. Any invoices submitted by a Sub-Contractor to the Supplier shall be considered and verified by the Supplier in a timely fashion. Undue delay in doing so shall not be sufficient justification for the Supplier failing to regard an invoice as valid and undisputed. Notwithstanding any provision of Clauses 9.2 (Confidentiality) and 13 (Publicity, Media and Official Enquiries) if the Supplier notifies the Customer that the Supplier has failed to pay an undisputed Sub-Contractor’s invoice within thirty (30) days of receipt, or the Customer otherwise discovers the same, the Customer shall be entitled to publish the details of the late or non-payment (including on Government websites and in the press).

  • Initial Appointments The Company appoints the Trustee as the initial Paying Agent, the initial Registrar and the initial Conversion Agent.

  • Continuing Appointments A Continuing appointment signifies the right of a Member to continuous employment that may be terminated only through the mechanisms provided in Article 8.

  • Medical Appointments Medical appointments may be charged to sick leave, provided the minimum time charged is not less than one-half (1/2) hour. Each absence shall be reported separately and authorized in advance by the employee's immediate supervisor.

  • Non-Promotive Appointment 254. An employee or officer who is a permanent appointee following completion of the probationary period or 2,080 hours of permanent service, and who accepts a non-promotive appointment in a classification having the same salary grade, or a lower salary grade, the appointee shall enter the new position at that salary step which is the same as that received in the prior appointment, or if the salary steps do not match, then the salary step which is immediately in excess of that received in the prior appointment, provided that such salary shall not exceed the maximum of the salary grade. Further increments shall be based upon the seniority increment anniversary date in the prior appointment.

  • Missed Appointments From time to time it may be necessary for Landlord and Landlord’s authorized agents including, but not limited to, property management personnel, maintenance contractors, appraisers, and real estate agents to gain access to the Property for the purpose of inspecting the Property or performing repairs and Tenant does hereby grant permission to Landlord and Landlord’s authorized agents to enter the Property for these purposes. If Tenant fails to keep a pre-arranged, mutually agreed to appointment allowing access to the property then Tenant agrees to pay Eighty Five and No/100s Dollars ($85.00) per event as liquidated damages to Landlord and such amount shall become due as additional rent under this agreement.

  • Appointment from a Layoff List 1. Employees who are appointed from a layoff list to a position with the same salary range from which they were laid off will be paid the amount for which they were compensated when laid off plus any across the board adjustments, including salary survey adjustments, which occurred during the time they were laid off.

  • Medical/Dental Appointments ‌ Where medical and/or dental appointments cannot be scheduled outside the employee's working hours, sick leave with pay shall be granted.

  • Provisional Appointment An employee with provisional status shall have no right to grieve or arbitrate release from such a provisional appointment.

  • Continuing Appointment A continuing appointment shall continue until retirement or until otherwise terminated pursuant to this Agreement.
