Stages. 1. Stage 1 —Supervisor a. An employee and/or his/her representative shall informally discuss the grievance with the supervisor within the thirty (30) day time limit. The Supervisor shall propose a resolution or deny the grievance within five (5) days; b. If the grievance is not resolved informally, it shall be reduced to writing and sent to the Supervisor within ten (10) days. Within five (5) school days after the written grievance is received, the Supervisor shall render a written decision to the employee and Association representative; c. If the grievance involves a claim to which the supervisor has been informed and which the supervisor lacks the authority to resolve, it may be brought directly to Stage 2.
StagesStage 1: The Shop Xxxxxxx, with the employee, shall first discuss the matter with the departmental head within five (5) working days of the alleged grievance first arising. If the matter is not resolved within five (5) working days, then:
Stages. Stage. I - A grievance shall be initiated under this procedure by the teacher submitting it in writing to his/her immediate supervisor on a form to be mutually developed by the Board and the Association. The immediate supervisor shall hold a meeting with the teacher for the purpose of reviewing the grievance within three (3) working days of presentation. The immediate supervisor shall render a decision in writing on the grievance within three (3) days following the date of such meeting.

A teacher having a grievance will discuss the violation to the contract referencing the specific section with the Building Principal/Supervisor either directly or through a representative, with the objective of resolving the matter informally. The Building Principal/Supervisor will confer with all parties in interest in arriving at a decision and will inform the Aggrieved Party or the Association representative of the decision and reasons for the decision within five (5) school days. b. If the grievance is not resolved informally, it shall be reduced to writing and presented to the building principal. Within five (5) school days after the written grievance is presented to him/her, the Building Principal shall render a decision thereon, in writing, and present it to the teacher, or the representative, and the Association. Any additional information used in reaching a written decision should be provided to the Aggrieved or the representative.

Stages. The TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER will be implemented in the sequential STAGES set forth in Appendix II, subject to and in accordance with the terms hereof, including Appendix II.
