VOTE/COPE. Effective July 1, 1999, the District shall deduct VOTE-COPE payments from teachers’ paychecks. The deduction authorization shall be in the form agreed to by both parties.

VOTE/COPE. Teachers may elect to participate in VOTE/COPE through payroll deduction.
VOTE/COPE. The District shall deduct from the payroll checks of individual unit members monies for VOTE/COPE. Each member who voluntarily elects to have such deduction shall sign an appropriate authorization card in triplicate. Funds so collected shall be forwarded directly to VOTE/COPE by the District and shall be accompanied by information required by applicable state or federal laws.
VOTE/COPE. The College will deduct from the employee’s fourth through eighth regular paychecks such VOTE/COPE contributions as may be authorized in writing by the employee. VOTE/COPE a. The District shall deduct monies for VOTE-COPE from the payroll checks of participating unit members. Each member who voluntarily elects to have such deduction shall sign an appropriate authorization card to be developed by the association, subject to the approval of the District. Funds so collected shall be forwarded directly to VOTE-COPE by the district and shall be accompanied by reporting information required by applicable state or federal laws. b. Individual requests for deductions shall be provided to the District Payroll Office at least twenty (20) school days before the deduction is to be taken during the school year and no later than August 1 if it is for the beginning of the school year. Deductions shall be for a single school year and must be renewed annually. Each annual deduction shall continue in force for that school year unless withdrawn, in writing, by the individual employee. Deductions must be for a minimum of $1.00 (one dollar) per pay period.
VOTE/COPE. The District will deduct a VOTE-COPE contribution from the salary of any bargaining unit member who authorizes the District to do so. The amount of VOTE-COPE contribution shall be set by the BTA and reported to the District in September of each year, together with the authorizations of each bargaining unit member who has elected to have deducted from his/her salary the VOTE-COPE contribution.
