Student School Day. If a change in the student school day (i.e. start and end times, xxxx schedule) is being contemplated, a Study Committee shall first meet prior to twenty five (25) work days before the end of the school year for the purpose of proposing modifications in the student school day for the various grade levels for the following year. The Committee shall submit recommendations to the Superintendent or designee and Association President(s) prior to the end of the school year. Two (2) members shall be appointed to this committee by each of the parties of this agreement.

Student School Day. The Student School Day shall begin when teachers commence assigned supervision of students and shall conclude at the final dismissal of students. The time the Student School Day commences and concludes may vary according to the needs of the educational program(s) of the School District. The Administration shall retain the right to schedule the Student School Day.
Student School Day. The student school day shall begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 3:15 p.m. for the 2012-2013 school year. Notification of a change in the student school day shall be made to the teachers no later than ten (10) days before the first day of school; the Board retains the right to set the beginning and ending times of the student day in future years, provided the teachers are notified of changes no less than ten (10) prior to the first day of the first day of school The first student school day shall begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 2:01 p.m.
Student School Day. The student school day shall be 6 hours and 30 minutes for elementary students and 7 hours for middle school students.

Student School Day. It is recognized, however, that the Committee may adjust starting and finishing times of the school day provided that the span of consecutive hours for any teacher is not increased. All teachers, specialists, counselors, and personnel covered by this agreement shall be in their classrooms or office areas at the starting time specified by this agreement. It is understood that elementary school start time for teachers, specialists, counselors and personnel covered by this agreement will be posted annually at the commencement of the school year.

Related to Student School Day

  • School Day The school day for members of the bargaining unit shall not exceed seven and one-half (7½) hours of consecutive time which shall include a duty-free, uninterrupted lunch period of no less than thirty (30) minutes.

  • School Year Teacher assignable time will be capped at 1200 hours per school year.

  • Summer School SUCCESS employees are not eligible for this provision. Employees engaged in teaching summer school shall be granted two summer school days of absence in a single term for either sick leave or emergency leave, or a combination of both, non-accumulative.

  • FARES AND TRAVELLING ALLOWANCE In lieu of the basic daily excess fares and travel pattern allowance prescribed by Clause 38.1.1 of the award, a payment per day shall be made for each day worked (including RDO’s). This payment shall in no way limit or be construed as a payment in substitution for any other entitlement arising under Clause 38 of the award. Payments shall be as follows: ⮚ 1/3/03 $22.50 per day ⮚ 1/3/04 $23.40 per day ⮚ 1/3/05 $24.55 per day The cost of Citylink tolls or similar will be reimbursed for those employees who are required by the company to use their own vehicle during working hours, but not for travel to and from work.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • High School At the request of the Superintendent, a high school teacher may volunteer on a semester basis to teach all the student contact time and be paid one sixth (1/6) of his/her salary for the semester. This section shall not be used to circumvent the hiring of additional full time teachers.

  • Fares and Travel Allowance All Employees shall be entitled to receive the fares and travel allowance as follows:

  • Distance Education 7.13.1 Expanding student access, not increasing productivity or enrollment, shall be the primary determining factor when a decision is made to schedule a distance education course. There will be no reduction in force of faculty (as defined in Article XXIII of this Agreement) as a result of the District’s participation in distance education. 7.13.2 Courses considered to be offered as distance education shall be defined in accordance with the Board of Governors’ Title 5 Regulations and Guidelines. Generally, this definition refers to courses where the instructor and student are separated by distance and interact through the assistance of communication technology (reference section 55370 of Title 5 California Code of Regulations). The determination of which courses in the curriculum may be offered in a distance education format, in addition to instructor/student contact requirements, shall be in accordance with the Title 5 California Code of Regulations.

  • Originating Goods For the purposes of this Agreement, a good shall be treated as an originating good if it is: (a) wholly obtained or produced in a Party as provided in Article 3.3 (Goods Wholly Obtained or Produced); (b) produced in a Party exclusively from originating materials from one or more of the Parties; or (c) produced in a Party using non-originating materials, provided the good satisfies the applicable requirements set out in Annex 3A (Product-Specific Rules), and meets all other applicable requirements of this Chapter.

  • Multi-Year Planning The CAPS will be in a form acceptable to the LHIN and may be required to incorporate (1) prudent multi-year financial forecasts; (2) plans for the achievement of performance targets; and (3) realistic risk management strategies. It will be aligned with the LHIN’s then current Integrated Health Service Plan and will reflect local LHIN priorities and initiatives. If the LHIN has provided multi-year planning targets for the HSP, the CAPS will reflect the planning targets.
