Summary Conclusions. ≈ − In this paper we studied the galaxy-IGM interface at z 2 2.8 in the 15 fields of the Xxxx Baryonic Structure Survey. Each KBSS field is centered on a very bright background QSO of which high S/N, high resolution spectra have been obtained, and includes a densely-sampled galaxy survey optimized to sample the same range of redshifts probed by the IGM measurements. Our analysis has included a total of 679 galaxies, the subset of the larger KBSS sample that lies in the appropriate range of redshifts within 2pMpc of the corresponding QSO sightline. The redshifts of 71 of our galaxies were measured directly from nebular lines observed in the near-IR, while the remaining redshifts were derived from ISM absorption and/or Lyα emission lines and the redshift calibration of Rakic et al. (2011). The median redshift of our galaxies is 2.36. We analyzed the spectra using the pixel optical depth method, which uses an automatic algorithm to recover the Lyα optical depth in each pixel, mak- ing use of higher order Xxxxx lines to recover the optical depth in pixels with saturated Lyα absorption. Our analysis relied almost entirely on me- xxxx statistics. Because the Lyα optical depth is proportional to the column density of neutral hydrogen, its distribution is physically more relevant than that of the flux. Our results can be summarized as follows (as before, all distances are proper): • We presented the first 2-D map of absorption around galaxies, show- ing the median Lyα optical depth as a function of transverse and LOS separations. By converting velocity differences along the LOS into dis- tances assuming pure Hubble flow, redshift space distortions show up as anisotropies in the absorption maps. • Hydrogen Lyα absorption is strongly enhanced near galaxies. Within ∼ 10 pkpc the median optical depth is & 2 orders of magnitude higher than in a random place (τLyα & 10 versus < 10−1). • Two types of anisotropies are clearly detected: ∼ − ∼ − −

Summary Conclusions. The best noise mitigations measures are those that reduce noise at the source. Here, the EU is competent and is urged to undertake efforts to enforce more stringent noise certification standards reflecting the actual using conditions of transportation noise sources. Local measures have a local effect only. Nevertheless, these measures are of importance: Noise mitigation must be adapted to local needs. More important than the relative ranking of noise mitigation packages is their categorisation as either Strategic or Tactical. • Strategic measures or packages All measures that must be implemented at the highest possible level inside the European Union. They are typically source-orientated. Implementation at a high level of authority inside the EU helps to avoid distortion of the internal market and ensure equal treatment of all EU citizens. Planning measures are typical examples of strategic measures that can be implemented at different levels. An action plan must take into account the local conditions. • Tactical measures or packages All measures that must be taken at a local level. They include all measures on the propa- gation pathway (screens, embankments etc.), source-orientated measures on the parts of the noise source that are tight to a fixed location in space (i.e. grinding rails, replacing road surfaces). These measures cannot be decided on at a remote level of authority. They are adapted to the needs of local hot spots. For road traffic noise, the study shows that all measures can be optimised if supported by regulations that enforce source-orientated noise reduction measures. For railway noise, the study reveals the need for a common rolling stock certification xxxx- dard to ensure overall noise reduction and equal treatment of citizen living along railway lines in all EU Member States. The highest potential still is at the source with the highest priority given to retrofitting of existing freight trains.
Summary Conclusions. ‌ We have presented a wide range of techniques, tools and experience related to the task of metadata enhancements. We have concentrated on available tools that may be used for EuDML toolsets [58, 39]. We have identified expertize among project partners and outlined possible workflows to be used for EuDML enhancers. References‌ [1] Adobe Systems Incorporated. • Background and Narrative of Budget Reductions 2. Assumptions Used in the Deficit Reduction Plan: - EBF and Estimated New Tier Funding: - Equal Assessed Valuation and Tax Rates: - Employee Salaries and Benefits: - Short and Long Term Borrowing: - Educational Impact: - Other Assumptions: - Has the district considered shared services or outsourcing (Ex: Transportation, Insurance) If yes please explain: ESTIMATED LIMITATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS (School Districts Only) (For Local Use Only)

  • Budget Adjustments The Grantee shall submit the Budget Adjustment Request [TJJD-FIS-304] to the Department for any adjustment to the original budget. The Grantee must receive written or electronic approval from the Department prior to expending the funds.

  • Initial Forecasts/Trunking Requirements Because Verizon’s trunking requirements will, at least during an initial period, be dependent on the Customer segments and service segments within Customer segments to whom CSTC decides to market its services, Verizon will be largely dependent on CSTC to provide accurate trunk forecasts for both inbound (from Verizon) and outbound (to Verizon) traffic. Verizon will, as an initial matter, provide the same number of trunks to terminate Reciprocal Compensation Traffic to CSTC as CSTC provides to terminate Reciprocal Compensation Traffic to Verizon. At Verizon’s discretion, when CSTC expressly identifies particular situations that are expected to produce traffic that is substantially skewed in either the inbound or outbound direction, Verizon will provide the number of trunks CSTC suggests; provided, however, that in all cases Verizon’s provision of the forecasted number of trunks to CSTC is conditioned on the following: that such forecast is based on reasonable engineering criteria, there are no capacity constraints, and CSTC’s previous forecasts have proven to be reliable and accurate.
