Project Partners. Within four (4) weeks from receiving said submission, Project Partners will respond to the request to publish. If within said period of four (4) weeks no Partner has objected to the draft publication, the publication shall be deemed approved. If within said four (4) weeks the Project Partners indicate they do not agree with the intended publication, they will mention the reason for this, and they are, within two (2) months from receiving said submission, entitled to:

Project Partners. Subject to the terms and conditions of this Compact, the Program Implementation Agreement and any other related agreement entered into in connection with this Compact, the Government may engage one or more entities of the Government to assist with implementation and carry out any Project or Activity (or a component thereof) under this Compact (each, a “Project Partner”). The appointment of any Project Partner will be subject to review and approval by MCC. The Government will ensure that the roles and responsibilities of each Project Partner and other appropriate terms are set forth in an agreement, in form and substance satisfactory to MCC (each a “Project Cooperation Agreement”).
Project Partners. The Recipient must ensure that all Project Partners are listed in item 5 of Schedule 1 and must ensure that at all times it has among the Participants, and approved by the Commonwealth, at least:
(a) Two Australian Industry Entities (including at least one SME); and
(b) One Australian Research Organisation.

Project Partners general roles and responsibilities
5.1 The Project Partners agree to be responsible for: 1) carrying out the specific activities set out in the Project work plan or otherwise agreed; 2) leading and co-ordinating specific work packages as in the Project Application; 3) providing all information and data to the Lead Partner that is required by the latter to coordinate and monitor the implementation of the Project and for reporting purposes; 4) submitting confirmations by independent chartered accountants (or equivalent) on the eligibility of their expenditure and any other first level control audit requirements; 5) notifying the Lead Partner of any factors that may adversely affect implementation of the Project in accordance with the implementation plan.
5.2 Project Partners agree to take all necessary steps enabling the Lead Partner to comply with its responsibilities as set out in the Subsidy Contract.
5.3 Each Partner bears sole financial and legal responsibility for its actions and investments within the Project.
