Summer Trips. All drivers interested in summer trips shall inform the transportation supervisor by June 1, of each year. These trips shall be offered to these drivers on a seniority rotation basis.
Summer Trips. Extra trips run during the summer outside of the regular school year shall be made available to all driver personnel on a rotational seniority basis. Excluded from this provision will be Summer recreation trips which are arranged through the Fowlerville Recreation Association. Drivers will be notified by phone of available trips on Monday morning between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. for that week. Each driver shall notify the transportation office of a phone number where he/she can be reached. A separate roster shall be posted for five (5) work days for signing prior to the end of the work year by drivers interested in driving Summer field trips.
Summer Trips. A summer trip list shall be posted one (1) week prior to the end of the school year. Any trips during the summer will be offered on a seniority rotating basis. Refusal of a trip will cause the driver to be charged with a trip and the next senior driver will be offered the trip. If no driver accepts the trip then the supervisor will assigned the trip to the lowest seniority driver. The supervisor will move up the seniority list on the next occurrence if no driver accepts the trip.
Summer Trips. Trips assigned starting the first day of summer break until the day before school starts. Interested drivers required to sign trip list prior to start of summer break.
Summer Trips. Any trips available during the summer will be offered to regular drivers first, on a rotating basis, starting with the most senior regular driver for the first trip and rotating thereafter.
Summer Trips. A. Summer Trips fall outside of the “school year” and are defined as the same as a “Field Trip,” a one (1) day event.
B. Those drivers desiring to participate in summer trips will be given an opportunity to sign up prior to the end of the school year, and assignments shall be based on seniority, subject to the provisions applied to “Field Trips.”

Summer Trips. Summer trips are to be considered as separate extra trips for all regular drivers and not counted as hours worked on the regular trip list. A separate roster should be used for this. When trips are assigned, it is the goal to get everyone equal trip time. A sign-up sheet will be posted for summer trips before the end of the school year and modified as the summer progresses.
Summer Trips a) On the last week of the school year, drivers will be given the opportunity to indicate an interest in summer trips.
b) The list of interested drivers will be prioritized by seniority and trips will be assigned as received in transportation office.
