SUPPLY OF POWER. Case ‘A’ From the Date of Synchronization of the first Unit of the Project, the Company shall deliver the electrical Energy from the Project at the Interconnection Point. The Company shall sell and the HPSEBL shall purchase at the Interconnection Point, the Net Saleable Energy i.e. the Energy received from the Project at the Interconnection Point. * Case ‘B’ From the Date of Synchronization of the first Unit of the Project, the Company shall deliver the electrical Energy from the Project at the Interconnection Point. The Company shall sell and the HPSEBL shall purchase at the Interconnection Point, the Net Saleable Energy i.e. the Energy received from the Project at the Interconnection Point. These provisions for sale and purchase of Energy shall be applicable for the entire term of the Agreement, as per Section 10.1, from the Synchronization Date of the first Unit of the Project. Out of the total duration, as aforesaid, for the first …….. years, or upto any other mutually extended period, from the Synchronization Date of the first Unit of the Project, the Net Saleable Energy shall be sold and purchased by the respective Parties under REC Mechanism and thereafter, for balance term of the Agreement, under the other long term arrangements for sale and purchase of Energy as per this Agreement. * Case ‘C’ From the Date of Synchronization of the first Unit of the Project, the Company shall deliver the electrical Energy from the Project at the Interconnection Point. The Company shall sell and the HPSEBL shall purchase at the Interconnection Point, the Net Saleable Energy i.e. the energy received from the project at the interconnection point. (*Apply whichever is relevant and delete which are not applicable.) During such periods, as may occur from time to time, as the Project is partially or totally unable to operate, the Company may draw Energy required for upkeep and maintenance of the Project from the HPSEBL's system, which shall be metered at the Interconnection Point and adjusted against the Net Saleable Energy in corresponding month's bill. In case the quantum of such drawls by the Company during a month exceeds the Net Saleable Energy for that month, the excess drawls shall be paid for by the Company at the same rate as applicable for Net Saleable Energy as per Section 6.2.
SUPPLY OF POWER. NEEPCO’s generating stations feed power at their respective bus-bar into the Regional Grid. Power is transmitted to the Bulk Power Consumers through transmission systems of the Powergrid Corporation of India Ltd. (PGCIL) as well as the respective State Transmission Utilities (STU). Generation and transmission of power in the region is regulated by the North Eastern Regional Power Commission and the North Eastern Regional Load Despatch Centre which are the designated apex bodies for integrated operation and management of the Regional Power System (Regional Grid). Tariff for power from the various stations are fixed as per the Availability Based Tariff (ABT) by the Central Electricity Regulatory Authority (CERC). The ABT regime came into force in the North Eastern Region with effect from 01.11.2003. Presently, NEEPCO has the following generating power stations: 1 Khandong Power Station 50 MW Assam 2 Kopili Power Station 200 MW Assam 3 Kopili Hydro Electric Project – Stage II 25 MW Assam 4 Doyang Hydro Electric Project 75 MW Nagaland 5 Ranganadi Hydro Electric Project 405 MW Arunachal Pradesh 6 Assam Gas Based Power Project 291 MW Assam 7 Agartala Gas Based Power Project 84 MW Tripura
SUPPLY OF POWER. The Project Company will arrange for the supply of all electrical energy and capacity required for construction of the Facility through (i) self-generation, or (ii) to the extent available, through making arrangements to purchase construction power from the GPA. GPA will arrange for backfeed power to be available at the Xxxxxx Substation as required for testing and commissioning in accordance with the parameters set forth in Schedule 8. Any such backfeed power shall be charged to Project Company at the prevailing rates applicable to such power. Project Company will arrange for the supply of all electrical energy and capacity required for the maintenance and operation of the Facility by (i) generating it with Project Company's own facilities, or (ii) to the extent available, using backfeed power through GPA's Xxxxxx substation. Any such backfeed power, to the extent it is supplied by GPA, shall be paid to GPA by Project Company at the then current rate for electricity at that location. Not later than one hundred eighty (180) Days before the Required Phase 1 Commercial Operation Date, Project Company shall provide GPA with a first draft of its proposed operating procedures dealing with all operation interfaces between GPA and Project Company, including the method of day-to-day communication, key personnel lists, clearances and switching practices, outage scheduling, capacity and energy reporting, operating log and reactive power support, which procedures shall be consistent with this Agreement, the designs of the Facility and the Grid System (including the principles and guidelines developed by GPA for the Grid System as part of and in accordance with the applicable system grid code and as provided to Project Company), and Prudent Utility Practices (the "Operating Procedures"). GPA shall cooperate with Project Company, including by providing responses to reasonable requests for information submitted by Project Company in preparation of the Operating Procedures. Within ninety (90) Days after GPA's receipt of the first draft of the Operating Procedures, GPA shall notify Project Company of any requested deletions, amendments or additions which, in the exercise of GPA's reasonable judgment, are necessary or desirable. SUPPLY OF POWER. 15.4.1 Electricity will be supplied to the premises at the strength fixed in Annex “A” of the agreement, with alternating current (AC), at a frequency of 50 cycles per second, 230 volts per phase and 400 volts between each phase. The supply will be single or triple phase protected by semi automatic fuses that are designed for the nominal current of the premises. The tenant is not allowed to replace these fuses without permission from the landlord.
15.4.2 The tenant is not entitled to expand and/or modify and/or make additions to the power supply devices that will be provided for the premises. The landlord may disconnect or instantly remove any expansion, modification, addition etc. that was made without the landlord’s permission, at the tenant’s expense, without impairing from the tenant’s responsibility for any damage that will be caused to the power supply devices as a result from such work.
15.4.3 If the tenant is interested in a further allocation of electricity than what is being supplied to the premises in accordance with the technical description, Annex “C”, the landlord will examine the possibility of increasing the electrical supply to the premises according to the electrical capacity of the project and will be entitled to refuse or agree to the request in its sole and absolute judgment, to be utilized reasonably. The tenant represents that he is aware that the landlord is not obligated to supply electricity beyond the amount specified in the technical description and he will not bring any action or claims against the landlord if his request is denied. Payment for connecting additional power as stated above shall be borne by the tenant and it shall be paid within 7 days from receipt of a demand to do so from the landlord. The tenant shall be solely responsible for the installation of any wiring or additional systems that are required to electricity as stated and they shall be added at his expense and under his responsibility alone.
SUPPLY OF POWER. 6.1 From the Date of Synchronization of the first Unit of the Project, or from the date of commencement of PPA, the Company shall supply the electrical energy from the Project at the Interconnection Point. The Government Supply shall be delivered by the Company to the HPSEBL at the Interconnection Point free of cost. The Company shall sell and the HPSEBL shall purchase at the Interconnection Point the Net Saleable Energy i.e. the energy received from the Project at the Interconnection Point less the Government Supply. During such periods, as may occur from time to time, as the Project is partially or totally unable to operate, the Company may draw energy required for startup and maintenance of the Project from the HPSEBL's system, which shall be metered at the Interconnection Point and adjustment of energy drawn by the project against the net saleable energy shall be made in corresponding monthly bills and in case the drawls exceeds the net saleable energy for that month, the exceeding drawls be paid by the company at bulk supply tariff or at the rates as may be approved by the Commission from time to time.
SUPPLY OF POWER. CDHT will cause the power supplier to provide the following services in relation to the power supply:
i. CDHT will cause the relevant power bureau to provide lighting power to Company. The Company shall pay for the consumed electricity based on the standard electricity charge announced by the power bureau. The current rate is as follows:
(a) Commercial Rate (current average price of RMB0.57 per kwh): Applies to electricity usage for the office lighting;
(b) Industrial Rate (current average price of RMB0.47 per kwh): Applies to all other usages except those stated above.
