Teacher Licensure. The School will advise Osprey Wilds, in its Annual Report and through submission of a STAR report if requested, each school year of the following for each teaching staff member: full name, Minnesota license number, grade taught, subject(s) taught.
Teacher Licensure. To obtain teacher pay, teachers must have teaching licenses on file within Human Resources. It is the responsibility of each teacher to maintain a current license on file.

A. To ensure teachers hired by the School District are properly licensed in the School District, the following procedure will be followed:
B. Teachers who have failed to obtain or renew their license by August 15 prior to beginning teaching with the School District will be given written notification of possible suspension without pay. If a continuing contract teacher’s license has not been renewed or the PELSB does not list the license as ‘Printed/Issued’ on its website by 4:30 pm on the first student contact day of the year in which the teacher must renew, the teacher may be suspended without pay. Verification of license will be made by checking the PELSB website.
C. If said teacher has not achieved licensing status by October 1st , 4:30 p.m. of the year he/she has been placed on unpaid suspension the School District may initiate termination proceedings following M.S. 122A.

Teacher Licensure. Any teacher who does not possess a valid teaching license on or before the first day of the first payroll period of any school year may be permitted to teach but may be compensated as a substitute only for up to sixty (60) calendar days of teaching or until such time as he/she has been issued his/her valid teaching license, whichever occurs first. In the event a valid teaching license is not issued within this time frame, then the teacher will be suspended from duties without pay until such license is received. Once the teacher receives his/her teaching license, if the teacher continued to teach prior to receiving such license and was paid the substitute rate during that time, then upon proof of receipt of licensure, the teacher will be paid the net difference between the teacher’s regular rate of pay and the substitute rate for applicable days of service.

Teacher Licensure. Recognizing the state's licensure process, Teachers are required to choose between the District's workshops, approved outside district workshops, and college coursework. By the ern-1 , of each year, Teachers shall demonstrate incremental progress on an annualized basis xxxxxx.. attaining 1 icensure during the prescribed period. Intervening factors beyond the Teacher's control shall be considered if the Teacher fails to satisfy this requirement. The District's workshops will be held for no longer than one and one-half (1 ½) hours and will be scheduled in a fashion that will consider the varying schedules of Teachers.

The School will advise The District of any changes to its teaching staff via the board meeting minutes on the school website.
Teacher Licensure. It is the responsibility of the teacher to maintain appropriate licensure with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Education regarding his/her teaching assignment. Evidence of current appropriate licensure must be on file with the Superintendent in order to maintain employment with Reading Public Schools.
