TEACHER/PUPIL RATIO. A. The Board will comply with state statutes in arriving at teacher/pupil ratio. Efforts will be made to equalize class loads. Efforts will also be made to establish appropriate target numbers for grade levels given a variety of impacting factors. These factors include, but are not limited to facilities, finances, types of classes, instructional techniques, and the like. In classes where physical limitations exist as to the number of functional student workstations, the number of students will not exceed the physical facilities necessary to provide effective instruction. It is understood that all references herein refer to art and general music teachers as well as general education teachers. B. The ratio of teachers to pupils on a district-wide basis will be at least one (1) full-time equivalent classroom teacher per twenty-five (25) pupils in average daily membership. Said ratio will be calculated in accordance with sections 3317.02 and 3317.023 of the Revised Code. The effective date of this requirement will be September 1, 1986. A minimum of five (5) full-time equivalent educational service personnel will be employed on a district-wide basis for each one thousand (1,000) pupils in average daily membership. Educational service personnel will be assigned to at least five of seven areas: counselor, librarian, school nurse, visiting teacher, and elementary art, music, and physical education. Alternatives to be considered may include but are not limited to the following: 1) transfer of new student(s) to another room within the building, 2) transfer new student(s) to another classroom in the district, 3) assignment of an educational aide dedicated primarily to assisting with alleviating the effects of the large enrollment, or 4) addition of a new classroom teacher for that grade level.
TEACHER/PUPIL RATIO. 6.1 It is recognized that the size of academic classes is directly related to quality for instruction; therefore, the following goals for class sizes are to be strived for: Kindergarten - 25 per class Grades 1 – 12 - 28 per class Developmental - 16 per class 6.2 The Board's goal in physical education classes will be a maximum of forty (40) students. 6.3 When class schedules are developed, the needs of the exceptional student shall be the prime consideration for classroom placement. The scheduling of these students shall be reasonable and provide an optimum learning environment. 6.4 A Teacher of any identified exceptional student who is mainstreamed shall be informed about the nature of the exceptionality and whether that student requires any specialized or individualized management or instruction within two (2) weeks of placement in the mainstreamed classroom. At the time an identified exceptional student is placed in a mainstreamed classroom, the receiving Teacher will be notified that the student is exceptional.
TEACHER/PUPIL RATIO. The District and the Organization endorse the principle that teacher-pupil ratio is a factor in good classroom practices. The Organization may discuss any problems that may arise in implementing this principle with the Superintendent of Schools and/or the appropriate building administrator.
TEACHER/PUPIL RATIO. The need for these special services may vary greatly from school to school. Therefore, the number of special education professional workers shall not be used in setting up or in determining the teacher-pupil ratio within the building.
TEACHER/PUPIL RATIO. It shall be the intent of the Board to maintain a teacher-pupil ratio at the best possible level to provide a good teaching-learning atmosphere. Teacher input will be used in the distribution and assignment of students to classes by the building principal.
TEACHER/PUPIL RATIO. The building evaluators shall make every attempt to achieve a ratio of 25-1 in grades K-5 and 30-1 in grades 6-12. When the teacher-pupil ratio exceeds 30-1 in K-5 for more than twenty-five (25) working days, the teacher will have the assistance of a full-time aide.

  • Apprentice Ratio The Employer recognises that in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the Employer, a significant commitment to structured training and skill development is required. They also recognise the importance of the apprenticeship system to the construction industry. Therefore, the Parties agree:

  • Funded Debt to EBITDA Ratio To maintain on a consolidated basis a ratio of Funded Debt to EBITDA not exceeding 3.0:1.0.

  • Maximum Total Leverage Ratio The Borrower shall not permit the Total Leverage Ratio as of the last day of any four-quarter period to be greater than 4.00:1.00. Notwithstanding the foregoing: (a) for purposes of calculating the Total Leverage Ratio, until the earlier of (i) the consummation of a Specified Acquisition and (ii) termination of the acquisition agreement related to such Specified Acquisition, the Total Leverage Ratio shall not include any Indebtedness of the Borrower or the Guarantors to the extent that (x) such Indebtedness was incurred solely to finance such Specified Acquisition (and any related transactions) and the proceeds of such indebtedness are held as cash or cash equivalents in an escrow or equivalent arrangement (pending the consummation of such Specified Acquisition) and (y) such Indebtedness is redeemable or prepayable at no more than 101% of the principal amount thereof (plus accrued interest) in the event that the Specified Acquisition is not consummated; and (b) upon the Administrative Agent’s receipt of a written notice substantially in the form of Exhibit F hereto (a “Specified Acquisition Notice”), the Total Leverage Ratio as of the last day of any period for the four-quarter period beginning with the period in which such Specified Acquisition is consummated (such period in which the Specified Acquisition is consummated, the “Specified Acquisition Consummation Period”) and continuing through the fourth consecutive fiscal quarter ended immediately following the first day of the Specified Acquisition Consummation Period shall not exceed 4.50:1.00 (in lieu of the ratio set forth for such period above); provided that (i) the Borrower may deliver a Specified Acquisition Notice no more than three times during the life of this Agreement and (ii) after any Specified Acquisition Consummation Period, the Borrower must have a Total Leverage Ratio of no more than 4.00:1.00 for at least two consecutive fiscal quarters before the Borrower may elect to deliver a Specified Acquisition Notice for an additional time.

  • Debt to EBITDA Ratio Maintain, as of the end of each fiscal quarter, a ratio of (i) Debt, excluding Debt in respect of Hedge Agreements, as of such date to (ii) Consolidated EBITDA of the Company and its Consolidated Subsidiaries for the period of four fiscal quarters most recently ended, of not greater than 4.0 to 1.0.

  • Leverage The Fund has no liability for borrowed money or under any reverse repurchase agreement.

  • Distribution Compliance Period The Purchaser agrees not to resell, pledge or transfer any Purchased Shares within the United States or to any U.S. Person, as each of those terms is defined in Regulation S, during the 40 days following the Closing Date.

  • Maximum Leverage Permit, as of any fiscal quarter end, the ratio of (a) Adjusted Portfolio Equity as of such fiscal quarter end to (b) Funded Debt as of such fiscal quarter end, to be less than 5.00 to 1.00.

  • Current Ratio The Borrower will not permit, as of the last day of any fiscal quarter, its ratio of (i) consolidated current assets (including the unused amount of the total Commitments, but excluding non-cash assets under FAS 133) to (ii) consolidated current liabilities (excluding non-cash obligations under FAS 133 and current maturities under this Agreement) to be less than 1.0 to 1.0.

  • Quick Ratio Borrower shall maintain, as of the last day of each calendar month, a ratio of Quick Assets to Current Liabilities of at least 2.0 to 1.0.

  • Consolidated Senior Leverage Ratio Permit the Consolidated Senior Leverage Ratio as at the last day of any fiscal quarter of the Borrower Parent (i) occurring on or before March 31, 2015, to exceed 2.50:1.00; (ii) occurring thereafter, to exceed 2.00:1.00.
