Apprentice Ratio. The Employer recognises that in order to increase the efficiency and productivity of the Employer, a significant commitment to structured training and skill development is required. They also recognise the importance of the apprenticeship system to the construction industry. Therefore, the Parties agree:
Apprentice Ratio. The Parties agree to cooperate in attaining the optimal training and deployment of apprentices on the Project and will accept persons qualified to become apprentices to fill the journeyman/apprentice ratio where there is a shortage of registered apprentices. The employment of apprentices (within regulatory requirements and limitations), will be promoted throughout the duration of the job, and shall provide for a spectrum of apprentices from the first year through to fourth year (as appropriate to the respective trade).
Apprentice Ratio. The maximum number of Apprentices to Journeymen in the shop shall not exceed:
Apprentice Ratio. The ratio of apprentices to journeymen shall be 1:1 (one Journeyman for the first apprentice) then a 3:1 ratio thereafter (three Journeymen to every one additional apprentice).
Apprentice Ratio. Employers who employ one or more journeymen steadily must employ an apprentice. Additional apprentices must be employed in the ratio of one (1) apprentice to four (4) journeymen, if available.
Apprentice Ratio. The maximum number of Apprentices to Journeymen in the shops shall not exceed: 4 Journeymen - 1
Apprentice Ratio. (a) The Committee is authorized to and shall indenture sufficient new Apprentices to provide for the availability of a total number of Apprentices in the training areas not to exceed a ratio of one (1) Apprentice to three (3) Systems Installers who are normally employed under the terms of this addendum.
