Temporary Filling of Posted Vacancy. The Employer shall have the right to fill any vacancy on a temporary basis until the posting procedure provided herein, including the trial period in Article 15.08, has been complied with.

Temporary Filling of Posted Vacancy. 2 A currently employed nurse may be granted a temporary position or a 3 temporary assignment to an unfilled posted permanent position, based upon 4 the job posting and bidding criteria set forth above, provided the nurse’s 5 current assignment can be covered with resource nurses, with other qualified 6 nurses on a voluntary basis, or can be temporarily vacated. Such a nurse 7 shall be entitled to return to the nurse’s prior position at the completion of the 8 duration of the temporary position. If a nurse is assigned to an unfilled 9 permanent position, the Hospital will return that nurse to the nurse’s prior 10 position, whenever feasible, within ninety (90) calendar days. 11 12 The above does not prevent the Hospital from filling the posted vacancy on a 13 temporary basis for a reasonable period that is necessary in order to properly 14 fill the position. 15

  • Temporary Vacancies (a) Vacancies of a temporary nature, which exceed or are expected to exceed three (3) months, shall be posted as per Article 24.1.

  • VACANCIES AND JOB POSTINGS 17.01 When a job vacancy or vacancies occur within the bargaining unit and the Employer intends to fill the vacancy, the Employer will post an announcement of such vacancy or vacancies on all Union bulletin boards. Said postings shall remain posted for a period of five (5) working days. The announcement shall contain the job title of the vacancy, a brief job description and the rate of pay, and the date of the posting and bid deadline date.
