Common use of Temporary Part-Time Clause in Contracts

Temporary Part-Time. A temporary part-time employee is one called in for a part-time position, generally to fill a long-term vacancy created through illness, maternity leave, leaves of absence, etc., for a period not to exceed six (6) calendar months in any calendar year. This six-month period may be extended if more than one such vacancy occurs within that period.
