Ten (10) Hour Tours. The parties agree that all the terms of the Collective Agreement as outlined in the Central Document and Local Provisions shall apply, save and except those provisions modified by this article.

Ten (10) Hour Tours. (a) For nurses working ten (10) hour tours, a regular tour shall be 9.4 consecutive hours in any twenty-four (24) hour period, exclusive of a total of thirty-seven and one-half (37½) minutes of unpaid mealtime. (b) Nurses shall be entitled, subject to the exigencies of patient care, to rest periods during the tour of a total of thirty-seven and one-half (37½) minutes. (c) The Hospital shall schedule nurses on the ten (10) hour tour every second weekend off. An employee will receive premium pay as defined in Article 14 for all hours worked on a second consecutive weekend, save and except where: i) Such weekend has been worked by the employee to satisfy specific days off required by such employee; or ii) Such employee has requested weekend work; or iii) Such weekend is worked as the result of an exchange of shifts with another employee.

  • Hour Shift An eight (8) hour tour shall be inclusive of an unpaid one-half (1/2) hour meal period, and two fifteen (15) minute paid relief periods.

  • Hour Shifts When the Employer deems it necessary to implement a twelve (12) hour work day, affected employees shall be notified pursuant to Clause 14.05. The following Clauses shall be replaced or added to the Collective Agreement where appropriate.

  • Ordinary Hours (a) The ordinary hours of work of full-time Employees shall be 36 hours per week and may be worked in accordance with this clause. (b) The ordinary hours of part-time and casual Employees will be in accordance with clauses 5.3 and 5.4.

  • Operating Hours Subject to Building Rules and Regulations and such security standards as Landlord may from time to time adopt, the Building shall be open to the public during the Building Operating Hours and the Premises shall be open to Tenant during hours other than Building Operating Hours.

  • Flexible Working Hours The Employer will, where operational requirements and efficiency of the service permit, authorize experiments with flexible working hours if the Employer is satisfied that an adequate number of Employees have requested and wish to participate in such an experiment.

  • Month A period commencing at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, on the first Day of a calendar month and extending until 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, on the first Day of the next succeeding calendar month. Monthly shall have the correlative meaning.

  • Service Hours The services shall be provided during the working hours and days as defined by the Contractor.

  • Work Day and Work Week The normal work day shall consist of up to 8 hours of work within a 24-hour period. The normal work week shall consist of up to 40 hours of work within a 7-day period. The Employer may define the work week on an individual, department, shift or facility basis in accordance with Federal and State law.

  • Afternoon Shift (i) Afternoon Shift is any shift where the normal ceasing time is later than 6.00 p.m. but not later than midnight. (ii) The additional loading for ordinary hours only shall be twenty-five percent (25%) of the all purpose rate applying to the Employees' classification.

  • Hours For the purposes of an unpaid 7.5-hour shift, the deduction from pay shall equate to 9.375 hours. (f) Tour Exchange
