Test Elements. Below is an example of the test elements, and is for reference only. The actual test requirements are specified in the following document;
Test Elements. Each SCT shall include the following test elements: Electrical output at Maximum Discharging Capacity (as defined in Exhibit A) at the Storage Facility Meter and concurrently at the Facility Meter (MW); Electrical input at Maximum Charging Capacity (as defined in Exhibit A) at the Storage Facility Meter (MW); Amount of time between the Storage Facility’s electrical output going from 0 to Maximum Discharging Capacity; Amount of time between the Storage Facility’s electrical input going from 0 to Maximum Charging Capacity; Amount of energy required to go from 0% Stored Energy Level to 100% Stored Energy Level charging at a rate equal to the Maximum Charging Capacity.
Test Elements. The Commercial Operation Test required pursuant to Section 7.2 shall consist of the following tests:
1. Contract Capacity Test;
2. Efficiency Rate Test; and
3. Other tests required to confirm compliance with the Project’s specifications in Appendix 1.2.2 (“Initial Compliance Tests”).
Test Elements. The Efficiency Rate Tests shall be conducted as follows (unless Xxxxx otherwise agrees in writing in its sole discretion):
1. At the start of the Efficiency Rate Test, the Stored Energy of the Energy Storage System shall be reduced to an amount equal or less than [20%] State of Energy, which Stored Energy amount (“Stored Energytest,0”) shall be recorded.
2. The Project shall be charged with Charging Energy to bring the Stored Energy of the Energy Storage System to at least [80%] State of Energy, at the then-applicable Contract Capacity, which Charging Energy amount (“Charging Energytest”) and Stored Energy amount at the end of such charging (“Stored Energytest,1”) shall be recorded.
3. Following the expiration of up to 24 hours after the end of such charging, the Scheduling Coordinator for the Project shall schedule the Project for discharging, at the Contract Capacity in an amount equal to the product of Charging Energytest multiplied by the Guaranteed Round-Trip Efficiency Rate. The Delivered Amount at the end of such discharging (“Delivered Energytest”) and the Stored Energy amount at the end of such discharging (“Stored Energytest,2”) shall be recorded.
4. The Tested Round-Trip Efficiency Rate (TRTER) shall be calculated as follows: TRTER =
Test Elements. The Initial Compliance Tests shall include the following test elements (unless Buyer otherwise agrees in writing in its sole discretion):
Test Elements. The Test shall include the following test elements (unless SCE otherwise agrees in writing in its sole discretion): Electrical output at PMAX and/or Maximum Discharge (kW) Electrical input at PMIN and/or Maximum Charge (kW) At 100% SOC, the amount of energy discharged at a rate of PMAX and/or Maximum Discharge At 0% SOC, the amount of energy charged at a rate of PMIN and/or Maximum Charge Regulation Ramp Rates Amount of time between being in the state of off-line to PMAX and/or Maximum Discharge Amount of time between being in the state of off-line to PMIN and/or Maximum Charge Amount of energy required to go from 0% SOC to 100% SOC charging at a rate equal to the Charging Capacity Energy loss over time
Test Elements. The first Test Day shall require Seller to perform validation of the following for each Generating Unit (each a “Test Element”): Capability to achieve the Maximum Capacity Output within 10 minutes from being off-line. Capability to be started and achieve Minimum Load within the time(s) set forth in Appendix 1.02. Capability to achieve and maintain stated GU Contract Capacity; and in the case of the Initial Commercial Operation Test, set the GU Contract Capacity. Regulation Ramp Rates. Heat Rate at GU Contract Capacity. The applicable Test Parameters shall be used to correct the GU Contract Capacity and Heat Rate test data results in accordance with PART III.F. of this Appendix. The second (2nd) and third (3rd) day of the Test (not including no more than two (2) additional days if required to complete each Test Element) will be conducted at SCE’s sole discretion; provided, no performance measurements shall be taken. During this period, the Generating Unit(s) shall be operated to demonstrate MCO and/or Contract Capacity (as applicable), Minimum Load and respective ramp rates (ramp up and down) to the satisfaction of SCE.
Test Elements. Each SCT shall include the following test elements: Electrical output at Maximum Discharging Capacity at the Storage Facility Meter (MW); Electrical input at Maximum Charging Capacity at the Storage Facility Meter (MW); Amount of time between the Facility’s electrical output going from 0 to Maximum Discharging Capacity; Amount of time between the Facility’s electrical input going from 0 to Maximum Charging Capacity; Amount of energy required to go from 0% Stored Energy Level to 100% Stored Energy Level charging at a rate equal to the Maximum Charging Capacity.
