Title Changes/Reclassifications. The parties agree that a simple change in title only of a position in a classification in the bargaining unit shall not remove the position classification from the bargaining unit as long as the type of work performed by the position remains essentially the same.

Title Changes/Reclassifications. The parties agree that a simple change in title only of a position in a classification in the bargaining unit shall not remove the position classification from the bargaining unit as long as the type of work performed by the position remains essentially the same. The Employer agrees to notify the Chapter of new or re-classifications of departmental jobs and agrees not to fill such positions for ten (10) days beyond such date of notice.

  • Classification Changes When the University determines that a revision of a class specification for positions covered by this agreement is needed, and such revision affects the collective bargaining unit designation, the University shall notify AFSCME in writing of the proposed change. AFSCME shall notify the University, in writing, within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the proposed changes, of any comments it has concerning the proposed changes or of its desire to discuss the proposed changes.

  • JOB CLASSIFICATION AND RECLASSIFICATION 26.01 In order to ensure the appropriate classification of jobs listed under Schedule "A" of the collective agreement, the Parties agree that matters related to the classification of new or existing jobs shall be dealt with in accordance with the Joint Job Evaluation Manual of Procedures forming part of this collective agreement. When a position is reclassified upward and the incumbent does not have regular status, the position will be filled competitively at the higher level.

  • Downward Reclassification a. When a position is reclassified to another class at the same pay level or to a class that carries a lower salary range, the incumbent trial service or regular employee shall be accorded corresponding status in the new class.

  • Reclassification Procedure a. A completed Position Description Form and written explanation for a proposed reclassification request shall be submitted to the Agency Personnel Office.

  • Room Changes No changes in room assignment will be based upon age, race, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, and online profiles except as needed to provide a reasonable accommodation to residents with eligible disabilities registered with the College Office of Counseling and Disability Services. Room change may only be made with the written approval of College Housing and is dependent upon space availability, timing of the request, and grounds for transfer. Residents who receive approval for a room change may be charged a room change fee as shown on the College Housing website, which will be posted to Resident’s account. Room changes that are not authorized by College Housing will result in a fine as shown on the College Housing website, which will be posted to Resident’s account.
