Trainee Employee. An employee regularly scheduled to work full or part-time that has not yet completed the WSCJTA and the Employers field-training program.

Trainee Employee. An employee regularly scheduled to work full or part-time that has not yet completed the telecommunications training to include “Call Taking”, “Fire/EMS Radio” and “Law Radio”. Once sign off occurs, the trainee employee is now a probationary employee and their name will be listed on the mandate list.
Trainee Employee. A full-time Employee is an Employee who is engaged to work an average of 35 Ordinary Hours per week, averaged over the Employee’s roster cycle, or averaged over a period of up to 26 weeks, to meet the Company’s operational requirements.
Trainee Employee. A communications officer regularly scheduled to work full or part- time who has not yet completed the telecommunications training to include "Call Taking," "Fire/EMS Radio," and "Law Radio." Once sign-off occurs on all of these major telecommunications training areas, the trainee will be listed on the mandate list and, if not already at the top step, shall progress one step effective the day of the first shift worked following full sign-off, which shall not change the employee’s anniversary date for subsequent step advancement.
Trainee Employee. An hired to acquire and develop skills and knowledge related to a permanent position, that eventually the employee is able to handle autonomously the responsibilities related to such a position after training period. The use of trainee employees is part of the Positive Action Program. A trainee employee covered by the collective agreement except for the specific following conditions:

  • Employee Employee’s rights and obligations under this Agreement shall not be transferable by Employee by assignment or otherwise, without the prior written consent of the Company; provided, however, that if Employee shall die, all amounts then payable to Employee hereunder shall be paid in accordance with the terms of this Agreement to Employee’s devisee, legatee, or other designee, or if there be no such designee, to Employee’s estate.

  • Part-Time Employee Part-time employee" means an employee who is normally scheduled to work fewer than 80 hours in a biweekly payroll period.

  • Pre-Employment Testing Nothing in this Contract shall limit the right of the City to conduct any tests it may deem appropriate for persons seeking employment prior to their date of hire. The parties agree that the Lodge has no role or responsibility with regard to any such pre-employment testing.

  • Regular Part-Time Employee A regular part-time employee is an employee hired to fill a posted part-time position and is regularly pre-scheduled to work.

  • An Employee once sent on annual leave shall not be recalled for duty except by mutual agreement between the Employer and Employee.

  • Eligible Employee For purposes of the SIMPLE 401(k) Plan provisions, any Employee who is entitled to make Elective Deferrals under the terms of the SIMPLE 401(k) Plan.

  • Re-employment An employee who resigns their position and within 90 days is re-employed, will be granted a leave of absence without pay covering those days absent and will retain all previous rights in relation to seniority and benefits subject to any benefit plan eligibility requirements.

  • Regular Employee Seniority for a regular employee is defined as the length of the employee’s continuous employment (whether full-time or part-time) from the date of commencement of regular employment, plus any seniority accrued, while working as a casual employee of the Employer.
