Training and Development Committee. The Committee shall meet on a regular basis during the length of the agreement. The Training Committee shall include representatives from the Company and the Union, no more than 3 representatives from each group. Training and Development Committee. Following approval of this Agreement, the Company will establish a Training and Development Committee. The Training and Development Committee will: • Have equal numbers of members from employees and management, which shall be 3 employee members and 3 management members; • Have a constitution that is to be developed by the members of the Committee; • Other than in respect of its functions under Appendix III, meet on as needs basis (or as determined by the constitution); and • Have, as its key function (other than the function to be performed under Appendix III), the discussion and resolution of training and development issues affecting the employees covered by this Agreement; Where, in the performance of its functions (other than the function to be performance under Appendix III), the Training and Development Committee is not able to reach agreement on any particular issue, that issue shall be dealt with in accordance with Dispute Settling Procedure outlined in Clause 20. Related to Training and Development Committee

  • Training and Development 14.1 The parties are committed to, and acknowledge the mutual benefit to the employer and employee of planned human resource development and the provision and participation in relevant development opportunities (including accredited training).

  • Learning and Development (i) Managers and supervisors are responsible for promoting and supporting learning activities for employees in their area of responsibility.

  • Research and Development (i) Advice and assistance in relation to research and development of Party B;

  • Training Committee The parties to this Agreement may form a Training Committee. The Training Committee will be constituted by equal numbers of Employer nominees and ETU employee representatives and have a charter which clearly states its role and responsibilities. It shall monitor the clauses of this Agreement which relate to training and ensure all employees have equal access to training.

  • Professional Development Committee There shall be a Professional Development Committee composed of at least two (2) representatives of the Association and an equal number of representatives from the Hospital. Each party may have alternates to replace a member from time to time.

  • Local Professional Development Committee 1. The Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) shall be established to oversee and review professional development plans pursuant to ORC 3319.22.

  • Labour Management Committee (a) Where the parties mutually agree that there are matters of mutual concern and interest that would be beneficial if discussed at a Labour-Management Committee Meeting during the term of this Agreement, the following shall apply.

  • Training and Professional Development C. Maintain written program procedures covering these six (6) core activities. All procedures shall be consistent with the requirements of this Contract.
