Training and Prevention. All day work personnel assigned to the Fire Code Enforcement Section and Training Section will work four (4) ten (10) hour shifts every week for forty (40) hours every seven (7) days.

Training and Prevention. All Workers will be provided information on the policy and program with respect to Workplace Harassment & Bullying. Based on the assessment, projects/programs may determine that the potential exposure to Workplace Harassment & Bullying necessitates the need to develop specific skills and knowledge. Depending on the level of risk of Workplace Harassment & Bullying, Worker training can range from reviewing relevant safety tips, posting of safety tips to scheduling workshop training or arranging for specialized training. Workers are required to enroll in the appropriate training course identified by their Project/Program Managers. The program will be reviewed annually and revised as necessary.
Training and Prevention. Keyano College is committed to providing on-going training for all sectors of the College Community. Training will be multi-faceted and designed to not only encompass the entire College Community, but also to provide preventative education to groups most at risk.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved.

  • Training and Technical Assistance COALITION will notify PROVIDER of the availability of training, technical assistance, and other targeted assistance in support of the provision of quality VPK services. COALITION will offer technical assistance for providers on probation. The technical assistance will be designed to facilitate the development and implementation of an improvement plan. The technical assistance will be offered in a manner and schedule prescribed by the COALITION or school district.

  • Fraud Prevention A. To screen its employees and contractors to determine if they have been excluded from Medicare, Medicaid or any federal or state health care program. The Contractor agrees to search monthly the HHS-Office of Inspector General ("OIG") and Texas Health and Human Services Commission Office of Inspector General ("HHSC-OIG") List of Excluded Individuals/Entities ("LEIE") websites to capture exclusions and reinstatements that have occurred since the last search and to immediately report to HHSC-OIG any exclusion information the Contractor discovers. Exclusionary searches for prospective employees and contractors shall be performed prior to employment or contracting.

  • Fire Prevention LESSEE agrees to use every reasonable precaution against fire and agrees to provide and maintain approved, labeled fire extinguishers, emergency lighting equipment, and exit signs and complete any other modifications within the leased premises as required or recommended by the Insurance Services Office (or successor organization), OSHA, the local Fire Department, or any similar body.

  • Safety Orientation As a condition of employment it is the sole responsibility of each and every employee to obtain, hold and maintain all current certification(s) in any and all legislated safety training requirements (i.e. WHMIS, Fall Arrest, etc.) that are trade specific and/or specific to the construction industry as a whole. Supporting documentation of all legislated training must be provided by the employee to the Union prior to dispatch and to the employer upon hire and may be further requested by the employer at any time during the duration of their employment. Prior to the expiration of any certification, the Employer will notify the Employee of the pending expiration and give the Employee reasonable time to renew their certification. Further, prior to arriving at site, employees shall hold current certification for the specific tasks identified in the dispatch request, such as Spark Watch, Confined Space Watch and so on. If the employee has to be trained after dispatch, all costs borne by the Employer shall be reimbursed by the Training Fund. All employees shall be certified in Safety Orientation. Safety Orientation shall consist of three parts: Part 1 - the CODC Interactive Rights and Responsibilities Course. Part 2 - the XXXX course or equivalent.

  • Drug and Alcohol Testing – Safety-Sensitive Functions A. Employees required to have a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) are subject to pre-employment, post-accident, random and reasonable suspicion testing in accordance with the U.S. Department of Transportation rules, Coast Guard Regulations (46 CFR Part 16) or the Federal Omnibus Transportation Employee Testing Act of 1991. The testing will be conducted in accordance with current Employer policy.
