Training Routes. In each center, 15% of the total routes bid shall be training routes. The training routes will be determined as follows: 1. The Company will designate 10% of the routes in a center as train- ing routes before the bidding begins; 2. The last 5% of routes bid in a center that were not designated as training routes by the Company will also be considered training routes. The addition of bidding of training routes at annual bid shall not affect or be subject to any agreements/understandings signed prior to ratification including but not limited to guaranteeing seniority list. Article 51, Section 9 (D) is not applicable to designated training routes. Successful bid drivers will be assigned to these training areas unless the routes are utilized due to different reasons including, but not limited to: skills invento- ry, training, etc. The remaining routes will be open for bid as de- scribed above in paragraph 2Bid Routes”.

These training areas will be bid in each center. The individuals holding these particular bids will work as assigned when the Employer is training on their area. Vacation replacement drivers, with no previous driving experience, will be allowed to stay on these training routes for up to seventy-five (75) working days. Seasonal drivers, with no previous driving experi- ence, will be allowed to stay on these training routes for up to forty-five (45) working days. Training routes will be posted on the center’s bulletin board. Employees who presently hold bid areas will not lose their bids as a result of this provision. The individu- als holding these particular bids will work as coverage drivers in accordance with Article 3 section 18 of the C.R.T. when the Em- ployer is training on their area. These training routes shall be used on a rotating basis. The following shall be the maximum number of bid training routes allowed in a center: Additional temporary training routes will be mutually agreed upon by the Union and the Company.

Training Routes. For every center the company is obligated to bid and maintain at least one two-man over 70 route. For centers with more than 30 routes the company shall add an additional two man over 70 route . Each center shall bid and maintain at least one (1) shuttle route.

When a new training route is established the oldest established training route(s) shall be removed from the training route list. The following shall be the maximum number of training routes allowed in a center: 1 - 20 Package Car routes – 1 Training Area 21- 40 Package Car routes – 2 Training Areas 41- 60 Package Car routes – 3 Training Areas 61- 80 Package Car routes – 4 Training Areas

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. The Employer still has an obligation to notify and bargain changes in terms and conditions of employment with the exclusive representative.

  • Training Program It is agreed that there shall be an Apprenticeship Training Program, the provisions of which are set forth in Exhibit "D", which is attached hereto and forms part of this Agreement.

  • Training Courses The Employer shall bulletin any training courses and experimental programs for which employees may be selected. The bulletin shall contain the following information: (a) type of course (subjects and material to be covered), (b) time, duration and location of the course, (c) basic minimum qualifications required for applicants. This bulletin shall be posted for a period of two (2) weeks on bulletin boards in all Departments to afford all interested employees an opportunity to apply for such training. The senior qualified applicant shall be selected.

  • Training Plan 19.6.1 An apprentice shall be a party to an individual Training Plan. 19.6.2 The Training Plan sets out the training that the apprentice will do both on – the – job and off – the – job. The Training Plan also sets out how the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) will ensure the apprentice will receive quality training – both on – the – job and off – the – job. 19.6.3 The Training Plan reflects the choices made by the employer and the apprentice in relation to:-

  • Trainings Appointment of any length involving two (2) or more Consumers who might need to split up to join different trainings, group discussions, etc.

  • Training Requirements Grantee shall: A. Authorize and require staff (including volunteers) to attend training, conferences, and meetings as directed by DSHS; B. Appropriately budget funds in order to meet training requirements in a timely manner, and ensure that staff and volunteers are trained as specified in the training requirements listed at xxxxx://xxx.xxxx.xxxxx.xxx/hivstd/training/ and as otherwise specified by DSHS. Grantee shall document that these training requirements are met; and C. Ensure that staff hired for HIV and syphilis testing are trained to perform blood draws within three (3) months of employment.

  • Training Services Training Services may include pre-packaged training Products, and/or the development or customization of training programs as requested, including Live Training, Computer Based/Multi-Media Training which encompasses Internet-Delivered Training, and/or Video Based Training.

  • Training a. The employer, in consultation with the local, shall be responsible for developing and implementing an ongoing harassment and sexual harassment awareness program for all employees. Where a program currently exists and meets the criteria listed in this agreement, such a program shall be deemed to satisfy the provisions of this article. This awareness program shall initially be for all employees and shall be scheduled at least once annually for all new employees to attend. b. The awareness program shall include but not be limited to: i. the definitions of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; ii. understanding situations that are not harassment or sexual harassment, including the exercise of an employer's managerial and/or supervisory rights and responsibilities; iii. developing an awareness of behaviour that is illegal and/or inappropriate; iv. outlining strategies to prevent harassment and sexual harassment; v. a review of the resolution of harassment and sexual harassment as outlined in this Agreement; vi. understanding malicious complaints and the consequences of such; vii. outlining any Board policy for dealing with harassment and sexual harassment; viii. outlining laws dealing with harassment and sexual harassment which apply to employees in B.C.

  • Training and Promotion a. The contractor will assist in locating, qualifying, and increasing the skills of minorities and women who are applicants for employment or current employees. Such efforts should be aimed at developing full journey level status employees in the type of trade or job classification involved. b. Consistent with the contractor's work force requirements and as permissible under Federal and State regulations, the contractor shall make full use of training programs, i.e., apprenticeship, and on-the-job training programs for the geographical area of contract performance. In the event a special provision for training is provided under this contract, this subparagraph will be superseded as indicated in the special provision. The contracting agency may reserve training positions for persons who receive welfare assistance in accordance with 23 U.S.C. 140(a). c. The contractor will advise employees and applicants for employment of available training programs and entrance requirements for each. d. The contractor will periodically review the training and promotion potential of employees who are minorities and women and will encourage eligible employees to apply for such training and promotion.

  • Training and Orientation (a) No employee shall be required to work on any job or operate any piece of equipment until he/she has received proper training and instruction. (b) The Employer shall provide sufficient and adequate training and/or orientation to any employee working in a new or unfamiliar work area or position.
