Students applying to the RN-BSN in the School of Nursing and Health professions may be eligible for the Xxxxxx Scholarship: Students must meet minimum criteria prior to eligibility for Xxxxxx scholarships. • Completed all general education courses • Hold a 3.0 or better cumulative grade point average • Hold a current, unencumbered nursing license • Be enrolled as a full-time student • Expect to complete the BSN within 12 months of enrollment in the nursing curriculum
Transfer Scholarships. St. Xxxxxxx College awards transfer scholarships, merit-based aid, and need based aid to eligible students. Scholarships available through this agreement are as follows: • Incoming full-time, Pell-eligible transfer students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher will receive a renewable scholarship of $14,000 annually. • Incoming full-time, Pell-eligible transfer students with a cumulative GPA of 2.5-2.99 will be considered for scholarship of up to $14,000 on a case-by-case basis. To maintain this scholarship, transfer students must receive a grade of a C or above in all SFC coursework and maintain a minimum GPA of 2.75. The financial aid regimen shall be reviewed annually by St. Xxxxxxx College and confirmed after July 1st of every year. The financial aid terms of this agreement may only be renewed or extended by a written agreement signed annually by the parties. STEM RESOURCE CENTER (SRC) BENEFITS St. Xxxxxxx College’s STEM Resource Center (SRC) provides focused support to undergraduate students who identify as Hispanic/Latinx or students from low-income households. The SRC will provide the following benefits for participating Bronx Community College students: • Participation in SFC’s STEM Summer Institutes (for support in key Science courses) • Access to a full-time STEM Success Coach

  • Scholarly Sharing On an ad hoc basis, Authorized Users may transmit to a third party in hard copy or electronically, minimal, insubstantial amounts of the Licensed Materials for personal use or scholarly, educational, or scientific research or professional use in the nature of collaboration, comment, or the scholarly exchange of ideas but in no case for resale or commercial purposes or in a manner that would substitute for direct access to the Licensed Materials via services offered by Licensor.

All drivers are to be provided with appropriate training and refresher courses each year in the following areas as a minimum: * Proper use of equipment including communications equipment; * Defensive driving; * Emergency and accident procedures; * Identifying unusual passenger behavior; * Student harassment and bullying; * Conducting evacuation drills; * Sensitivity training in working with disabled persons; * Human relation skills in working with parents, school staff, etc; * General vehicle maintenance and pre-trip inspections; and * Map reading and city street coordinates. The Department of Business and Transportation Services may review Contractors’ bus driver training program, upon request.

  • Orthodontics We Cover orthodontics used to help restore oral structures to health and function and to treat serious medical conditions such as: cleft palate and cleft lip; maxillary/mandibular micrognathia (underdeveloped upper or lower jaw); extreme mandibular prognathism; severe asymmetry (craniofacial anomalies); ankylosis of the temporomandibular joint; and other significant skeletal dysplasias. Procedures include but are not limited to: • Rapid Palatal Expansion (RPE); • Placement of component parts (e.g. brackets, bands); • Interceptive orthodontic treatment; • Comprehensive orthodontic treatment (during which orthodontic appliances are placed for active treatment and periodically adjusted); • Removable appliance therapy; and • Orthodontic retention (removal of appliances, construction and placement of retainers).
