Travelling Time Credits. Employees shall be credited with all time used during their day's assignments in which travelling is authorized, except as follows:
(a) When the employee departs from home, from one hour before the departure of the common carrier to the time of arrival of the common carrier at the final destination.
(b) When the employee departs from their normal place of employment to travel on a common carrier, from the time the employee reported to his normal place of employment to the time of arrival of the common carrier at the final destination.
(c) When the employee departs from a place of lodging when on an out-of-town assignment, from one hour before the departure of the common carrier to the time of arrival of the common carrier at the final destination. In the case of international travel in accordance with (a) and (c) above, one hour will be added to compensate for the additional time required for Customs and Immigration clearances. It is understood that travel on a day off shall be regarded as work on a day off and shall be calculated using (a), (b) and (c) above.

Travelling Time Credits. ARTICLE WAIVER OF TIME CREDITS When traveling is on a between A.M. and hours midnight, local time, full time shall be credited up to and only for the first seven and one- half (7 hours of travel for Air and Office and the first eight (8) hours for Technical. When travel is on a carrier between hours and hours, local time, and suitable sleeping facilities are available, no credit shall be allowed. For the purpose of this section, a single occupancy berth, a first class seat on a plane or a regular seat on a charter shall be construed as suitable sleeping facilities. When an economy class seat is provided, half-time credit shall be allowed. When travel is designated by the Employer on conveyances which do not have suitable sleeping facilities, time credit shall be allowed.

19.2.2 When travelling is on a common carrier between the hours of 12:00 midnight and 8:00 a.m. local time, and suitable sleeping facilities are available, no time credit shall be allowed. When travelling is designated by the Corporation on conveyances which do not have suitable sleeping facilities, time credit shall be allowed on an hour for hour basis.
