Work on a Day Off. An employee called in to work on his/her day off shall receive pay for the time worked at the rate of double time for the hours worked, for a minimum of 4 hours, in addition to his/her regular weekly salary in all departments.
Work on a Day Off. 11.6.1 An employee required to work on a day off shall be paid at the rate of time-and-one-half (1 1/2) for a minimum of eight (8) hours.
11.6.2 Work beyond the regular shift on a day off shall be paid at the rate of double time.
11.6.3 Employees who perform work on a second consecutive day off shall be paid at the rate of double time for a minimum of eight (8) hours, and at the rate of double time-and-one-half (2 1/2) for work performed beyond eight (8) hours on the second consecutive day off.
Work on a Day Off. When an employee works on a scheduled day off, work performed on that day shall be compensated at one and one-half (1½) times the basic rate for the first seven (7) hours and double (2) time thereafter. Employees so assigned shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at the applicable rate. The provisions of Article 17 shall apply as appropriate.
(a) When an employee works on both Saturday and Sunday, work performed on the Sunday shall be compensated at two (2) times the basic rate.
(b) When an employee works on the first day in an unbroken series of consecutive and contiguous days off and designated holidays, the employee shall be compensated for all hours worked on the second or subsequent day in the series at two (2) times the basic rate.
Work on a Day Off. 38.1 An employee may refuse to work on a scheduled day off. However, if all qualified employees in that job function refuse to work, the Company may assign the work to any qualified employee, in the inverse order of Company seniority and this assignment of work cannot be refused but otherwise, an employee will not be penalized for refusing to work on a scheduled day off. When an employee is asked to work on an ongoing special project in which they have been previously involved, such a request to work on such day off will not be unreasonably denied. When an employee works in accordance with the above, on a scheduled day off/extra day off, work performed on that day shall be compensated as follows:
38.1.1 If work is performed or credited on one (1) day off in a week, time and one-half (1/2) computed separately from the work week, for all hours worked with a minimum credit of four (4) hours. Each employee shall be notified of their scheduled hours.
38.1.2 If work is performed or credit on any two (2) days or more conterminously scheduled days off, double time (2) shall be computed separately from the work week and shall apply to second and subsequent days off worked with a minimum credit of four (4) hours per day. Each employee shall be notified of their scheduled hours.
38.1.3 Should the hours worked or credited on a day off exceed the scheduled hours or eight (8) hours, an additional one-half (1/2) times the basic rate over and above the rates contained in Article 38.1.1 and 38.1.2 will be paid on these excess hours.
38.1.4 Should the hours worked or credited on a day off exceed twelve (12) hours, all time worked or credited in excess of twelve

Any time actually worked on a day off by a full-time nurse shall be compensated at the rate of time and one-half (1 ½) of the nurse's regular-rate. Part-time nurses will be paid a thirty-five dollar ($35.00) bonus for reporting to work on a day off on a Monday through Friday, when notified of the need to work twenty-four (24) hours or less prior to their expected reporting time. Any time actually worked on a day off by a part-time nurse shall be paid at straight-time unless the work constitutes overtime hours, in which case time and one-half (1 ½) will be paid. Weekends shall be definedas Saturday Sunday. There will be no changes in days off one (1) week prior to the days off without the employee's consent. Notwithstanding Article an employee's schedule may be changed without the individual's consent up to seventy-two (72) hours prior to the date to be changed when news programs are pre-empted due to late changes in playoffsports coverage. The Employer shall endeavour to schedule shift workers on the same with the same start time, for at least five (5) consecutive days, Rotating Rotating shall apply to (includingthose hired after the signing of this Agrement)with the least seniority who are not assigned to other duties anchoring, producing, Bureau,Sunday Edition, witha minimum of five (5) on rotating shifts. In the event a dayside shift is to be filled, the Employer first offer the shift to the nightline in order of seniority. When such requests are accepted, the Employer shall not incur any additional cost beyond the which would normally occur after the change, not as a result of the change. Summer students will be on a separate and equitablerotation.
Work on a Day Off. 37.1 An employee may refuse to work on a scheduled day off, however, if all qualified employees in the job classification refuse to work the Company may assign the work to any qualified employee in the bargaining unit in the inverse order of Company seniority within the position. No employee in exercising the foregoing right of refusal will be penalized for refusing to work on a scheduled day off/extra day off or beyond the regular scheduled tour of duty except in an ON AIR EMERGENCY.
37.2 When an employee agrees to work on a scheduled day off/extra day off, work performed on that day shall be paid as follows:
37.2.1 If work is performed or credited on one day off in a week, time and one-half (1 ½) computed separately from the work week, for all hours worked with a minimum credit of seven (7) hours.
37.2.2 If work is performed or credited on consecutive days off, they will be paid one and one- half (1½) basic for the first day worked and one and one-half (1½) basic for any other day off worked in that sequence with a minimum credit of seven (7) hours computed separately from the work week.
Work on a Day Off. A regular employee who is required by the Employer to work on a day off designated for the employee pursuant to Section 22.03 (Statutory Holiday Falling on a Rest Day), shall be paid in accordance with Section 19.02 (Overtime Rates).
