Twelve-Month Contract. A faculty member shall work the same number of days as the Administrative Contract for that year which shall include paid vacation days and paid holidays. A faculty member with a Twelve-Month Contract will have his/her Basic Year Daily Rate of Pay pro-rated up for duty days in excess of that year’s Faculty Basic Year Contract.

Twelve-Month Contract. The University shall provide the resident with the use of a residence hall space 24 hours before classes for the student’s specific school or program year begins and ends on July 31, 2020 for students not returning to housing for the next year. Students returning to housing for the 2021 - 2022 academic-year may remain in housing through the beginning of the new contract period. Changes to the chosen occupancy period may not be made after October 31, 2020. Residents may be required to move to another location during the summer break. Changes in Occupancy due to COVID-19 related safety concerns: It is understood and agreed that during the current pandemic, the University is operating in accordance with the its Pandemic Recovery Plan, as filed with the Office of the Secretary of Higher Education. It is further understood that the resident may be relocated by the university during the term of the contract for health and safety reasons in order to comply with quarantine or isolation procedures, and resident agrees (1) to comply and cooperate with relocation plans and procedures and (2) that any such relocation will not result in a full or partial refund of housing costs.

The contract period commences and ends on dates agreed upon.  Summer housing assignments are planned for Xxxxxx Xxxx extension (subject to change).  Residence Life must receive a copy of your summer school registration for classes outside of NJIT.  Students or visitors requesting housing without taking classes must provide a written letter from their employer. Except NJIT Co-Op’s, Residence Life will verify employment with Career Development Services.  Full payment or other arrangements acceptable to the University must be made prior to check-in. If not, your housing may be canceled.  Rooms will be assigned on a first-come, first-serve basis until all allocated rooms have been filled. You may request another summer housing resident as a roommate. However, it is not guaranteed.  If you have a twelve-month contract, you are automatically signed-up for a summer assignment. If you are not returning for the fall semester your contract ends on July 31, 2016. You are expected to checkout on or prior to this date unless other arrangements have been made and accepted by the University.  Single rooms may be assigned by one of the following criteria:  a current resident is staying through closing and for at least one (1) summer session or  it is a summer resident’s fall assignment and they are staying for the entire summer period or  the individual is part of a conference group or visiting intern. All Contracts (excluding summer) Written notification from the University to a Resident of his/her removal and prohibition from University Housing may also terminate the contract. In consideration of either the academic-year or twelve-month housing assignment, the Resident agrees to:

The Resident agrees: (1) to comply and cooperate with relocation plans and procedures, and (2) that any such relocation will not result in a full or partial refund of housing costs.

  • Twelve Month Employees A member of the unit who is employed on a twelve (12) month 19 basis shall be allowed paid vacation leave, exclusive of holidays, as follows:

  • consecutive months If the Employer extends an individual employee’s trial service period, the Employer will provide the employee with written reasons for the extension. Employees in an in-training appointment will follow the provisions outlined in Subsection 4.3 E.

  • Contract Year A twelve (12) month period during the term of the Agreement commencing on the Effective Date and each anniversary thereof.

  • Twelve Hour Shifts Employees shall be entitled, subject to exigencies of patient care and/or departmental requirements, to rest periods during the shift of a total of forty-five (45) minutes.

  • Month A period commencing at 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, on the first Day of a calendar month and extending until 10:00 a.m., Eastern Standard Time, on the first Day of the next succeeding calendar month. Monthly shall have the correlative meaning.

  • Compensation for Holidays Falling on Scheduled Days Off 1. When a holiday falls on a full-time employee's regularly scheduled day off, the employee shall receive eight (8) hours of compensatory time.

  • Holiday Falling on a Scheduled Workday An employee who works on a designated holiday which is a scheduled workday shall be compensated at the rate of double-time for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday; except for Christmas and New Year's when the compensation shall be at the rate of double-time and one-half for hours worked, plus a day off in lieu of the holiday.

  • OPTIONAL TWELVE-MONTH PAY PLAN 1. Where the Previous Collective Agreement does not contain a provision that allows an employee the option of receiving partial payment of annual salary in July and August, the following shall become and remain part of the Collective Agreement.

  • Amendment of Contract Period The parties may modify the contract termination date by written supplemental agreement prior to the date of termination as set forth in Article 6, Supplemental Agreements, of attachment A, General Provisions, provided, however, that the termination date may, in no event, be extended past the fifth anniversary of execution.

  • CONTRACT PERIOD AND RENEWAL The Contract is effective on the signature date of the latter of the Parties to sign this agreement and terminates on June 30, 2023, unless renewed, extended, or terminated pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Contract. The Parties may extend this Contract subject to mutually agreeable terms and conditions.
