United Way agrees. To recognize and respect the autonomy of the Agency, through its governing board, to determine its own policies and to manage its own programs. To conduct a community-wide campaign to secure funds annually to support local health and human services. To maintain responsible stewardship on behalf of United Way donors and member agencies. To deploy United Way financial support to maximize the resources available for programs aimed at current needs of the community, including programs not now receiving United Way funding. To provide a citizen-directed system of reviewing agencies, their programs and funding requests on a regular basis. To respect the confidential nature of information provided by the Agency. Contents of an Agency’s proposal and financial information will be used for purposes consistent with this agreement. To distribute allocation payments to the Agency on the 15th of each month, unless notified otherwise. To distribute donor designated dollars to the Agency. To annually implement a community-wide marketing and communications program that promotes United Way agencies and their programs.
United Way agrees. To keep all channels of communication with its Board and its various committees open to Participant for consideration of problems of common concern. To recognize the obligations imposed upon Participant by any state or national body under which it operates. To conduct an annual, community-wide fund-raising campaign designed to reach the highest level of potential giving to best meet community human service needs. To honor designated pledges to agencies. If designated pledges exceed the recommended allotment, a supplemental allotment will be made if sufficient contingency funds are available and directed for disbursement by the United Way board. To maintain and execute responsibilities of a governing board. To act as responsible xxxxxxx of funds publicly contributed through the United Way campaign by keeping all its books and financial records open and available for examination by any person at any reasonable time; by having its financial records audited annually by an independent public accountant or certified public accountant. To make campaign allocations available to the public. Provide a network for technical assistance as feasible and build the capacity of partner agencies.

IX. To annually implement a community-wide marketing and communications program that promotes United Way agencies and their programs.
United Way agrees. To conduct annually a fundraising Campaign, as determined by the United Way Campaign Cabinet, and to provide an efficient and desirable means for the solicitation, collection, and receipt of funds for local, state, national and worldwide charitable, philanthropic, character-building and social-welfare agencies and organizations; to solicit, collect, receive and apportion such funds among agencies and organizations; and to do such other things as may be provided in the certificate of incorporation of this corporation. The Campaign shall be conducted among individuals and businesses in the United Way area at the lowest possible cost. To recognize the autonomy of AGENCIES. To use United Way of America’s general accounting and budgeting procedures in its own operation and conduct its own operation in a manner subject to sound budget controls and fiscal procedures. To provide logos and other materials needed by agencies for United Way identification, visibility, and marketing purposes. To make available to the AGENCY a copy of an annual audit of the financial records of the United Way prepared by a Certified Public Accountant. To maintain a Board of Directors that shall meet at least four times annually. To disburse to the AGENCY its annual program allocation of United Way funds according to the guidelines below so long as the AGENCY abides by the provisions of this AGREEMENT and the funded program is in existence (within the year specified by this AGREEMENT). Allocations less than $1,000.00 January 15th Allocations of $1,001 and greater 12 monthly installments beginning on or about January 15th that will occur on or about the 15th of each month thereafter. To provide financial support to programs provided by AGENCIES which carefully prepare reasonable budgets and operate within them. To encourage the AGENCY to conduct separate appeals in areas outside of the unified Campaign geographical area in which the AGENCY serves. To provide the AGENCY the right to an appeal discussion regarding its allocation to the United Way Executive Committee. (See III-N)
United Way agrees i. To recognize the responsibility of the Agency’s Board of Directors to determine its own policies and manage its own program within the scope and spirit of this Agreement.
ii. To consider the interdependence of an agency with a national affiliation, when making decisions that may impact the Agency’s local/national relationship.
iii. To act as a liaison between the Agency and the various departments and key committees of UWGBACC regarding problems of common concern regarding the agency.
iv. To conduct an annual fundraising campaign and use its best efforts to raise the greatest amount possible consistent with the needs of the community.
v. To be a responsible xxxxxxx of funds by fully informing contributors regarding the use of such funds and submitting all records to an annual audit by an independent auditor.
vi. To promote cooperation and collaboration within the human services community.
vii. To provide the Agency a reasonable amount of time in which to respond to requests for documentation and information.
viii. To communicate openly with all agencies concerning United Way and its community efforts.
ix. To maintain the program funding level for the duration of this Agreement:
1. As provided for in this Agreement, and
2. Contingent upon the fulfillment of future campaign pledges, and
3. The Agency’s compliance of the terms of this Agreement, including but not limited to the complete and accurate quarterly report submissions to United Way

F. To respect the confidential nature of information provided by the Agency. Contents of an Agency’s proposal and financial information will be used for purposes consistent with this agreement.
G. To distribute allocation payments to the Agency on the 15th of each month, unless notified otherwise.
H. To distribute donor designated dollars to the Agency.
I. To annually implement a community-wide marketing and communications program that promotes United Way agencies and their programs.
United Way agrees. That, assuming that Impact Partner is in compliance with this agreement and the standards of accountability set forth herein, it will provide the following funding* to Impact Partner for the following program(s) in accordance with this agreement:
a. Name of Program an amount not exceeding $__________
b. Name of Program an amount not exceeding $__________ To directly deposit payments in accordance with paragraph 1 above into Impact Partner’s designated bank account on the last day of each month. The total amount of each deposit shall be one-twelfth of the total amount being funded for each program, and monthly payment is contingent on Impact Partner’s continued compliance with this agreement and the standards of accountability set forth herein.

X. Xx provide a citizen-directed system of reviewing agencies, their programs and funding requests on a regular basis.
F. To respect the confidential nature of information provided by the Agency. Contents of an Agency’s proposal and financial information will be used for purposes consistent with this agreement.
G. To distribute allocation payments to the Agency on the 15th of each month, unless notified otherwise.
H. To distribute donor designated dollars to the Agency (if designations exceed the annual allocation, payments will be made on a quarterly basis beginning in June of each year).
I. To annually implement a community-wide marketing and communications program that promotes United Way agencies and their programs.

To maintain the program funding level for the duration of this Agreement, as provided for in this Agreement, and contingent upon the fulfillment of future campaign pledges and the Agency’s compliance of the terms of this Agreement, including but not limited to, the complete and accurate quarterly report submissions to United Way, from the Agency.
United Way agrees. 1. To conduct a community-wide fundraising campaign designed to reach the highest level of potential giving in order to best address health and human services needs of the community.
2. To provide consultation and assistance for the Partner Agency in the furtherance of its goals.
3. To assist the Partner Agency in making its programs and services known to the community.
4. To distribute designations as determined by United Way’s current policy.
