UNIVERSITY BREAK PERIODS. Certain University Housing will close during University scheduled breaks as follows: Xxxxx-Xxxxxxx House, Xxxxxxxxxxxxx House, Xxxxx House, and Xxxxx House are closed during Winter Break and Spring Break. Xxxxxxx House, Xxxxxxxx House, Kentwood Hall, Scholars House, Sunvilla Apartments, and Monroe Apartments are open during all break periods. Fall semester residents of Xxxxxxx House, Xxxxxxxx House, Kentwood Hall, Scholars House, Sunvilla Apartments, and Monroe Apartments who wish to reside on campus during the winter break must be in good standing with the University and enrolled for spring semester courses and coordinate with the Department of Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services. The Missouri State reserves the right to modify the University break periods identified in this Section 4 following reasonable notice to University Housing residents.

Xxxxxxx House, Xxxxx House, Xxxxxxxx House, Kentwood Hall, Scholars House, Sunvilla Apartments, and Monroe Apartments are open during all break periods. Fall semester residents of Xxxxxxx House, Xxxxx House, Xxxxxxxx House, Kentwood Hall, Scholars House, Sunvilla Apartments, Monroe Apartments, and any additional non-University Apartment opened by the University during the Term of the housing Contract who wish to reside on campus during the winter break must be in good standing with the University and enrolled for spring semester courses and coordinate with the Department of Residence Life, Housing and Dining Services.   • Lunch and Break Periods 280. At the request of the Union or the City, City departments will meet and confer regarding the scheduling of break and lunch periods for unit members. Existing departmental practices with respect to break and lunch periods shall continue unless modified after the conclusion of the meet and confer process. Rotating Days Off

  • Break Periods The parties agree that the paid rest period contemplated by Article 16(e) shall be taken during times that will not interfere with the operation of the Strong Start Centre.

  • Meal and Break Periods The unpaid meal period shall be thirty (30) minutes. If a represented employee does not receive this thirty (30) minute meal period, he/she may be relieved at the end of eight (8) hours. If the employee’s work day is not shortened (ie: if he/she works eight and one-half (8½) hours), he/she shall be compensated under the CBA for one-half (½) hour at time-and-a half (ie: paid for 45 minutes). Two 10 (ten) minute breaks shall continue to be provided for each full-time shift.

  • Work Periods 10.02 Work Periods shall be:

  • Rest Periods and Meal Breaks (a) All employees shall have two (2) fifteen (15) minute rest periods in each work period in excess of six (6) hours, one (1) rest period to be granted before and one (1) after the meal period, provided the staff to child ratio can be maintained. It is understood that meal breaks and rest periods may be combined subject to operational requirements.

  • Break Period All employees working in full time (7 or 7.5 hour) positions shall be permitted a fifteen (15) minute rest period both in the first half and the second half of a shift.

  • Meal Breaks and Rest Periods 7.1 Except when required for urgent or emergency work and except as provided in 7.2 below, no employee shall be required to work for more than five hours continuously without being entitled to a meal break of not less than half an hour. There will be only one meal break of not less than half an hour during a 10 hour shift.

  • Complete Work without Extra Cost Except to the extent otherwise specifically stated in this contract, the Contractor shall obtain and provide, without additional cost to the City, all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, facilities, services, permits, and licenses necessary to perform the Work.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Work Period The normal work period shall consist of forty (40) hours of work within a seven (7) day period or eighty (80) hours of work within a fourteen (14) day period.
