Scheduled Breaks. All employees scheduled to work seven or more hours of pay shall have two fifteen minute breaks during their shift. Employees working less than seven but more than three shall have one fifteen minute break during that shift.

Scheduled Breaks. All employees shall be entitled to a duty free lunch that is one (1) hour in length. It is recognized that there may be circumstances in which the period of the duty free lunch may be broken into two segments. In each instance the superintendent or his/her designee shall establish the stop and start times and the lunch hours with input from the employee. In each category, employee may be assigned to other duties within the bargaining unit on a temporary basis. In the event the period of reassignment shall exceed five (5) consecutive workdays, there will be appropriate notice to the Association. These requirements are for full-time employees. Nothing shall preclude the Board from establishing part-time positions. The Board shall have the right to establish the start and stop times for each position and the lunch hours.
Scheduled Breaks. Employees shall be entitled to one fifteen (15) minute break in the first five (5) hours of their shift. If their shift exceeds six (6) hours, they shall be entitled to one (1) additional paid fifteen (15) minute break. Scheduling of breaks, regardless of length, must be approved by a supervisor. Employees are entitled to a thirty (30) minute unpaid meal break if they work more than five (5) hours. If an employee is requested by a manager to work or be available for work during a meal break, the meal break must be paid time.
Scheduled Breaks. For each scheduled break in excess of five (5) hours between segments in a Trip Pairing, or between Trip Pairings in a single Duty Period, the Company shall provide single occupancy hotel accommodations, as provided for in subsection 6.A.1., above. This provision is not applicable to breaks created by a Pilot through Open Time Trades or pick-ups, or through Trip Trades between Pilots.

  • Scheduled Outages (1) No later than five (5) Business Days prior to the dates required by the ISO for delivery of schedules for planned outages (which such ISO required delivery dates are currently January 15th, April 15th, July 15th and October 15th of each calendar year during the Facility Term), and at least sixty (60) days prior to the later of: (A) Initial Synchronization, or (B) SCE becoming Seller’s Scheduling Coordinator, Seller shall submit to SCE its schedule of proposed planned outages (“Outage Schedule”) for the subsequent twenty four-month period using the Web Client. If Seller fails to submit an Outage Schedule for any period as required under this Section 3.19, then Seller shall not be permitted to schedule or have any planned outages with respect to such period. The foregoing shall not prevent Seller from modifying its Outage Schedule in cooperation with SCE and the ISO. SCE shall provide Notice to Seller in the event that the ISO changes the ISO required delivery dates for schedules for planned outages. In addition, no later than thirty (30) days prior to October 15 of each year, Seller shall submit to SCE its estimate of its planned outages for the following year. (2) Seller shall provide the following information for each proposed planned outage: (A) Start date and time; (B) End date and time; and (C) Capacity expected to be online, in MW, during the planned outage. (3) Within twenty (20) Business Days after SCE’s receipt of an Outage Schedule, SCE shall notify Seller in writing of any reasonable request for changes to the Outage Schedule, and Seller shall, consistent with Prudent Electrical Practices and as permitted by the ISO, accommodate SCE’s requests regarding the timing of any planned outage. (4) Seller shall cooperate with SCE to arrange and coordinate all Outage Schedules with the ISO. (5) In the event a condition occurs at the Generating Facility which causes Seller to revise its planned outages, Seller shall provide Notice to SCE, using the Web Client, of such change (including an estimate of the length of such planned outage) as soon as practicable after the condition causing the change becomes known to Seller. (6) Seller shall promptly prepare and provide to SCE upon request, using the Web Client, all reports of actual or forecasted outages that SCE may reasonably require for the purpose of enabling SCE to comply with Section 761.3 of the California Public Utilities Code or any Applicable Law mandating the reporting by investor owned utilities of expected or experienced outages by electric energy generating facilities under contract to supply electric energy.

  • Scheduled Downtime For the purposes of this Agreement, Scheduled Downtime will mean those hours, as determined by us but which will not occur between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday without your authorization or unless exigent circumstances exist, during which time we will perform scheduled maintenance or adjustments to the Environment. We will use our best efforts to provide you with at least twenty-four (24) hours of notice prior to scheduling Scheduled Downtime.

  • Lunch Breaks The lunch break will consist of a one-half hour (or one hour where scheduled) unpaid break taken mid-way during regular work day. In the event that an employee is required to work during his regular lunch period he shall be allowed a one-half hour lunch period between the hours of ll:30 a.m. and l:00 p.m., otherwise he shall be paid double time for working through said lunch period.

  • Rest Breaks Employees shall receive a fifteen (15) minute break during each four (4) hours worked. It is the Employer's intention to provide uninterrupted rest breaks.

  • Scheduled Termination Unless previously terminated, the Commitments shall terminate on the Commitment Termination Date.

  • Breaks 40.1 One 10-minute paid morning rest break and one 30 minute unpaid lunch break will be scheduled within 6 hours after work starts. 40.2 Where an Employee is required to work more than two hours overtime after the usual ceasing time of the day or shift they shall be allowed a 20 minute rest break paid at ordinary time rates prior to commencing overtime. Employees who take payment in lieu of stopping work for this break will be regarded as having worked a further 20 minutes and shall be paid at overtime rates. 40.3 An Employee working overtime on a Saturday, Sunday or Public Holiday shall be allowed a 30-minute combined Rest Period/Meal/Crib Break after four hours work, such time to be paid at double ordinary time rates, with a further 20 minute Crib break to be paid at double ordinary time rates if the overtime continues past 8 hours worked. 40.4 In the case of overtime work being cancelled by the Employer at the end of the 4-hour minimum or any time thereafter, Employees will, in addition to the payments as prescribed, be paid for the 30 minutes combined Crib/Meal/Rest Period if not already taken. 40.5 If work proceeds beyond the 4 hours minimum then Employees will be paid for all time so worked.

  • Tea Breaks (a) Every employee will be entitled to a paid 10 minute tea break in each four hours worked at a time to be agreed between the employee and employer. (b) Subject to agreement between the employer and employee, such breaks may alternatively be taken as one 20 minute tea break. (c) Xxx breaks will count as time worked.

  • Coffee Breaks The Company will provide two (2) fifteen (15) minute coffee breaks during each work day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

  • Lunch Break Each Teacher shall receive each day an uninterrupted and continuous period of not less than forty (40) minutes for lunch, free from supervisory, teaching or other assigned duties (reference: Regulation 298.s. 3, Daily Sessions).
