UNPAID RELIGIOUS HOLIDAYS. Pursuant to RCW 1.16.050(3), an employee is entitled to two (2) unpaid holidays per calendar year for a reason of faith or conscience or an organized activity conducted under the auspices of a religious denomination, church, or religious organization. Leave will be provided in accordance with Washington law and the City’s personnel policies. In the event the City’s personnel policies conflict with Washington law, then the minimum requirements of the law shall apply.
