Use of Accrued Leave during Pregnancy Disability Leave. Pregnancy Disability Leave may consist of leave without pay; however, an employee shall be required to use accrued sick leave in accordance with the University's Disability Plan. If accrued sick leave is exhausted, an eligible employee may elect to use accrued compensatory time off (in accordance with Article 13 – Hours of Work) or accrued vacation prior to taking Pregnancy Disability Leave without pay. If the employee’s vacation leave accrual is at maximum, the employee will be required to use at least 10% of the vacation leave credit prior to taking Pregnancy Disability Leave without pay.
